CHAPTER THREE –––––––– ADAM DECIDED TO LET Diane cool down for about half an hour and take care of his own problems. The entire situation riled Diane up a lot, and he doubted that she would listen to reason. The man washed the dishes stacked in the sink, his mind mulling over the plans he had already made. He also ticked off a mental checklist, one by one, the security measures he had to take. Finished with the dishes, Adam brought his things from the barn into the house and left them in the kitchen until he had somewhere else to store them. Adam intended to keep his part of the bargain and let Diane decide which bedroom he could take.
