JULIAN’S POV Something was wrong, and I was damn curious to know what Olivia was currently thinking. She had fallen into a silent state, completely frozen, for the past four or three minutes since the phone call. Was she lost in deep thought, perhaps? Her eyes were fixed on the tiny rocks in her line of vision. I heard her mention her ex-husband, so I knew the conversation involved the man who had deeply affected her.
