OLIVIA'S POV I had just returned home from work, and an odd restlessness gnawed at my insides. The day had been long, filled with meetings and discussions that had done little to ease the unease that had settled over me. I kicked off my heels and settled onto the couch, remote in hand, ready to indulge in some mindless television. The screen flickered to life, but the words and images that flashed before me held no interest. It was as if my mind had a mind of its own, refusing to be distracted.
