Chapter 28: Willa's Wolf POV
Labor sucked. Let's just start there. It sucked big time. It hurt. Willa tried to stay present but sometimes she got so exhausted she pushed me to the surface so she could have a mental rest. I joked with William that he should take over and experience child birth. I got a hard "No" from him. "This is your pup, not mine," he said. "We are all the same person, of course it's your pup too," I said. "Both of you stop," Willa whined, "You're making my head hurt." "Sorry," we muttered.
First a healthy boy was born. We named him Daniel. I learned from my wolf mate that Nate's father was named Daniel. He and his mate had died. He didn't like talking about it. Family seemed to be a sore subject for everyone involved.
