Watching our mate go in and out of consciousness during labor was the scariest thing I've ever experienced in my 18 years of consciousness with my human Nathan. Willa kept switching between her two wolves and herself and it was frightening. I kept thinking she would shut down or maybe even lose the pup. I honestly didn't understand how they were switching back and forth or how the bonded twin thing worked. My wolf mate tried to explain but honestly it was going over my head. When I pleaded to the Moon Goddess she simply mind-linked that everything would be okay, that our mate was built for this. I trusted her words but that didn't stop me or Nathan from crying or panicking. Our mate was still tiny!
