She was sitting behind her desk, busy on a document, she looked up when the door opened and seeing him, she said to Philip, “it’s alright Philip, you can leave.”
Philip bowed and left and Shane marched towards her desk, she looked back down on the document she was working on earlier, “you know Mr. Lockwood, there is a reason they invented the word called ‘knocking’ and it’s so that people like you can show some basic etiquette.”
Shane smiled, she was using his own words against him, “why are you doing it?”
“Doing what?” She looked up at him.
“Why are you releasing the news about my mother?”
“I don’t know what you are talking about,” she looked down again.
“Don’t lie to me Lillian,” he slammed his hand on the table and even though she flinched, she didn’t make it known,
