Assassin number one

A young man was walking home from school like every day. His name was Kyo Hasegawa, he was fourteen years old this year. At school, he was a model student so he was very popular with his teachers. At home, everyone loved him because Kyo was their only son. His hobby was to walk and admire the scenery around him so he always walked slowly to enjoy that wonderful moment. After twenty minutes, he arrived home. "I'm home" "Is my son home?" Kyo's mother greeted him with a bright smile. Suddenly, the door opened outside. "Dad's home, mom and son." Kyo's father's voice echoed outside the door. The mother and son came out to greet him and his mother served dinner. The whole family ate and talked and laughed happily. After finishing eating, Kyo asked his parents' permission and went upstairs to study. [A few hours later] "Is it 11 already?" Kyo looked at his watch and realized it was time to go to bed. Their faces were covered by dark masks, only revealing their sharp eyes. They suddenly looked at Kyo. "Is this the kid who is highly compatible with the experiment?" "Looks like it." They whispered something that he couldn't understand. "I guess we can't negotiate, so we'll have to use force." As soon as they finished speaking, they stabbed Kyo's mother with a knife. "You bastards! What are you doing?" His father shouted loudly and rushed forward to hit them, but was lightly kicked away by them. Kyo was shocked and scared when he saw this. "Kyo, r...run away..." Before his father could finish speaking, they stabbed him in the neck and he stopped breathing immediately. "Please don't hurt my son." Kyo's mother begged despite being injured. However, they ended her life without hesitation. "Dad, mom, don't leave me." He cried and screamed in despair, but they ignored him and knocked him out and put him in the car. [After Kyo woke up] Kyo woke up in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by the corpses of children his age. "Awake? Subject 206" A man dressed in white, wearing a bio-mask and a full body suit, approached him. "Who are you?" "You don't need to know, as long as you survive, our experiment will be successful." After saying that, he laughed maniacally. The laughter echoed throughout the space, making Kyo feel uneasy. [Two years later] Since that day, they have been experimenting on him continuously. They did everything they could to stimulate Kyo's potential. The name of their project was 'Opening up the next step of human evolution'. Because the way the project was conducted was too inhumane, it was banned by the government. However, these scientists ignored it and secretly kidnapped children they thought were suitable for the project. Previously, the children they captured died after only a few months, but Kyo was different. They had been experimenting on him for two years, but he was still alive. However, his emotions were destroyed, Kyo now felt no love, hate, resentment, or anything, he was just an empty shell. Today, after holding a meeting, these scientists decided to increase the severity of the experiment. They put him in a glass cage, filled it with water so he couldn't breathe, and injected a high-intensity electric current into the water. He cried out in pain, but no one cared. "Hey, increase the electric current." "That's right, it has to be increased to get results." Those guys said while laughing with delight. Right after that, Kyo screamed, and the glass cage suddenly broke. "Our experiment was a success?" They said with delight. Kyo started to growl like a beast. The scientists now realized something was wrong but it was too late. With lightning speed, he attacked each of them. Some of them couldn't even react before being killed. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" As soon as he shouted, an electric current surrounded him and created a huge explosion. The explosion blew away everything within a radius of 1 kilometer. [A few minutes later] Kyo woke up and had no memory of losing control. All he could see was the devastation after the explosion. "What happened?" He wondered but had no emotions at all, all of Kyo's emotions had disappeared after being experimented on many times. While he was wondering what to do, a car drove up. "What's going on here?" The person in the car got out and stared at the center of the explosion. Immediately, the person looked at Kyo. "Kid, why are you here?" After hearing the question, he shook his head lightly. "I don't know." "Oh, this is the first time someone has stood in front of me and been so calm." The man said while clapping his hands. "I see you have talent, do you want to be an assassin? Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Kane Saito, a retired assassin and currently managing other assassins. If you become an assassin, I will support you with housing, food, and even a salary. What do you think?" "Okay, I don't know what to do either." Kyo replied calmly. After hearing his answer, Kane was very pleased. He put Kyo in the car and took him somewhere.
