Blurb

She was a vampire hybrid, but no love was given for vampires in her world no matter who you were.

Lost,

No hope

She thought disappearing was her only option left until she met him. Those stunning blue eyes and hungry gaze made her satisfied enough to stay alive. But being with a human was forbidden in her time and she didn't know how she was going to resist the pull that was making her fall in love with him. It was like they were fated to be together.

Chapter 1: Prologue
Early 1990  The waves were treacherous, the Little Lady was barely surviving the storm and was going up and down with the flow of the ocean. The man stood at the front of the boat, staring worriedly into the endless depth of the water. Suddenly a big wave tore across the entire boat and the people on it screamed loudly, their hands grasping for the handrail as they were tossed overboard. The waves claimed them all drowning their sorrows of water and a endless darkness. From then onwards, the world was starved of happiness, world wide people were losing their loved ones and people were dying of dark depression that tore their entire worlds to pieces. The man that had stood at the front of the boat when the storm passed over the ocean, was slowly crawling across the ocean floor. His hands were dripping in blood and skin was peeling over the top of his knuckles. His once short brown hair that had flown beautifully across his head was gone, ripped apart by the arms of the deadly ocean he was currently crawling through. Mr Blair Evans was his name, once the owner of the top company in New York now left for dead, was on a cruise to take his family away for the weekend. Now they were gone torn away from him in the storm. Rocks and stones were now becoming smooth and no longer hard and stony. He was beginning to run out of breath but promise of a underwater paradise was keeping him alive, for how much longer he didn't know. He crawled once more and then his eyes widened into shock. White light guided him towards a angel figure, her white wings were beautiful. He reached out to her with his hand and she let out a small giggle holding his hand tightly in her grasp. As soon as she held his hand, she transformed into a dark demon and her laugh turned deadly, her eyes were a bright red and were filled with hate and anger. She bent down onto her knees, and pulled him towards her, he gasped trying to escape from her hold, but she would not give. The water turned dark and the stones cut into him instead of being smooth no longer. She wasn't there, just a figment of her imagination due to him being so close to dead. A fish swam towards him with its mouth wide open, huge gaping teeth that were too big to be considered normal hung out of its mouth. Its eyes were blue but when it came closer they turned a menacing dark green. He backed away trying to get further and further but the fish just swam faster and came even closer. His hand came up to cover his face but the fish didn't want his face. It came close enough and its teeth seemed even larger in close proximity. It bit into his neck where the shoulder meets it and he felt blood dripping onto the floor below. He gasped trying to breath in air but he couldn't and he fell into a deep blackness.  When he woke he was still in a dark place but he felt more alive than he had ever felt before, his eyes were now a deep almost blood red colour filled with specks of black. His ears were more rounded and shaped to his head. There must have been something in what the fish had bitten him with. It was unusual for such a creature to bite him and it weirded him out. He attempted to look around where he was and he found himself in a dark cave, the cave was underwater as when he went towards the entrance of it, the depth of water was endless streaming in all directions. He looked down at himself and saw a thin but bulky suit that clung to his body almost like a second skin when trying to take it off, he was met with intense pain and nausea that made him feel like he was going to die. Sighing heavily, he wondered how he could see but nothing told him he had changed.   Only we know as the reader that he is changed.  He felt the sensation of being watched but nothing was there, he checked again and was still met with the same. Swimming out of the cave he slowly went up to the surface. He breathed in the fresh air and looked around floating at the top. No life was about and he became worried, until a beautiful maiden was seen in the distance, her eyes were violet and she was covered in scars from head to toe. She was very pretty and wore a purple dress that came down to her knees. She was beautiful and he became drawn to her. Almost fate was what he believed. He slowly took his time taking her image in. He didn't know how long it would last. She was folding washing and putting it into a bag to take back inside to the household.  He swam as fast as he could towards her climbing up the side of the cliff to reach her. She turned around to be met with him and ran away gasping in fear. The clothes scattered across the ground.  He ran inside the house finding her on the staircase. He had picked up the clothes and he then handed them to her. She walked back towards him and something drew her closer. Years later, they were married and had kids, generations passed. Now what Blair had become due to the bite was called vampires and because of him, half hybrids were born and so the world was now filled with vampires, but because of him mating with a human. The rule was then made that no human could ever mate with a vampire. He was the first born but generations of breeding meant that half hybrids were rare but serverly hated on. That was until the birth of Basil.
