“Is that so? And who has he found?”
“He didn’t say,” Frederic lied to him.
“Hmm… Alright,” Lucius looked suspiciously at him.
“We will see each other again mother and father,” both of them looked in the direction the voices were coming from, it was Katrina with her father and mother saying their farewells.
“Mother and father are not up yet?” asked Lucius.
“Um… Father was rather drunk last night,” Frederic looked at him. “And mother, she is probably tending to him.”
“It’s alright, there’s no need, I hope to come back anyway,” said Lucius. “Farewell brother,” he shook hands with Frederic as he pulled him closer and hugged him.
“Take care, and come back,” Lucius turned away from him and looked at Katrina who was waiting for him while he said his goodbyes.
“Ready?”
“Let’s go,” both of them pulled on the horse’s reins and walked slowly on the cobblestone path, leading to the main gate of Celvin, people that rose early in the morning, couldn’t believe what they were seeing. What business does the lord's son have outside the castle? And with the king's daughter no less, Lucius thought it would be better if this whole thing stayed between them until they find out what was really going on, and if in fact, something was going on, nobody, of course, wants to create panic throughout the whole world.
