Under the heavens

Planet: Astra City:??? Time:?? People are running in and out of the city hall as it is engulfed in flames,an official walks out with guards as they head towards the mountains "where is asuka?" The guard hesitates, unsure of the outcome of his answer "s-sir she's in labour now" hikaru grins unsure of how to react "let's go to her" "Sir... What about the ongoing war" There's a moment of silence Hikaru exhales deeply as he halts his movement temporarily "two guards go ahead the rest follow me " "Oh?" Hikaru turns immediately as he recognized the voice "what are you doing here " "U should be asking you the same embodiment of war, hikaru hoshino" Hikaru frowns "I would like to know why you are heading to the hospital at a time like this " "I need to see my wife, she's in labour now " The mysterious person smiles, slightly showcasing a scar on his cheek which was covered by his black hair "I see..." "So..." Hikaru maintains composure as he suddenly appears in his front angry "She is more important than saving everyone hikaru?..." "Im sorry taka, you'll cover for me.....right?" "You know you'll die for what you are about to do right?" Hikaru smiles and walks towards the hospital leaving taka behind "Hikaru you owe me one" "Sure..." Taka runs towards the mountains where the battle going on slightly more energetic than earlier Hikaru closes in on the hospital and realizes that it is partly engulfed in flames and the entrance has fallen over sealing it from outside "Damn it..... Got here late" Hikaru uses his sword to effortlessly clear open a path as he rushes in Hikaru is greeted by a nurse who seems to be in a bad shape "S-sir..." "What happened here?" Hikaru observes her thoroughly to check for clues "Sir they attacked this place..." "They?" They both seemed to have knowledge of 'they' as hikaru mood changes after hearing those words "Where is my wife?" "She's resting in her room, she just gave birth to your son" "Okay thank you" Hikaru's mood didn't lighten up despite hearing such good news. He walked to the ward and enters only to see blood everywhere and his new born child crying amidst a puddle of blood besides his seemingly dead mother "C-chinatsu..." Hikaru runs to her side uncertain of her death but too guilty to check as he makes sure of his child's safety. After cross checking on his child he carries his wife's hand and holds it to check only to realize it was dead cold and felt lifeless. A tear drop rolls down his eyes as he couldn't contain his grief anymore till he feels a gentle pat on his head "There there, don't cry hikaru..." Hikaru immediately raises his head and sees his wife stroking his hair gently and smiling "I'm not dead hikaru,I just fell asleep from tiredness" "Chinatsu,... don't go dieing on me okay" Chinatsu says nothing but keeps smiling and caressing his hair "What name do you want to give our child?" Chinatsu is partially shocked by that question "Wow, you thought of that..." "Why not?..." "Well, you see, you tend to forget alot of things" "Oh...my bad.... so what name did you think of" Chinatsu calls his attention towards her left arm where a writing is displayed on "Look here..." "Er... I'm bad at reading remember?" Chinatsu couldn't help but let out a small laugh which pleased hikaru completely "You have yours right?" Hikaru answers boldly"yes " "Let's say it together then" Hikaru let's out a deep breath and waits for chinatsu's signal "3,2,1...go" "Danzai" After calling the name in unison,they stare at each other shocked at their answers "You too taught about danzai?" Hikaru smiles "Yeah,i wanted to name him after taka..." "Me too" Apparently taka has been their best friend for a long time now Chinatsu looks at the door and sees the nurse peeping in on them but ignores her "What about the battle hikaru" "Forget about that for now " "No I can't ..... If you don't stop them, they'll still come after us" Hikaru felt reluctant to leave but had to "I'll come back for you" "I'll be waiting" Hikaru jumps out through the window and runs to the mountains. Just then the nurse enters the room looking annoyed "Took you two long enough" Chinatsu brightened mood changes to a mix of worry and fear "A-as promised, don't kill hikaru or his son please....he started the war because of me so let me pay the price" The nurse lets out an evil laugh as she tears the outer skin revealing a male inside "Hikaru is quite easy to deceive though, did he think I'll aid him" The mysterious man finally focuses his gaze on her "And now....." *** Embodiments..... Beings that govern affairs in the world and enforce order in it. Earthlings often refer to them as inner gods and sometimes tend to worship them.the embodiments are even given a special continent on earth to stay because of the fact that they are almost immortal and don't die from trival things like aging and sickness.In other words, there are only two ways to kill an embodiment;one is by another embodiment, two is by other worldly creatures called embodiment killers who oppose embodiments When an embodiment who governs a particular aspect of life is killed,that aspect partially vanishes from the world until a new person is chosen from among the newly born.during the Taisho period, embodiments were mostly of war or booze but now the embodiment have evolved,creating new genres like sports and arithmetics and the likes. The embodiments started facing matters of embodiment killers who disguised their selves as inner gods to kill embodiments .Word came to hikaru to start a war between embodiment killers knowing fully well that if it's a war hikaru would never lose but hikaru whose wife has been barren for at least 200 years finally conceived a child so hikaru didn't initially want to accept the task "Where's hikaru......" The embodiment of death walks through his mansion's hallway furious at hikaru for his late response to his invitation "Where's he?......." Damn you hikaru, your attitude still didn't change "Sir" Chibi turned his attention to one of his guards calling out to him "What......" "Hikaru sama has arrived, he's in your courtyard now" Chibi walks to the courtyard after signalling the guard to exit *** Hikaru sips the green tea he's served as he waits for chibi to arrive. He waits for a while in silence before standing up to walk around, just then chibi walks towards the courtyard "Sup, chi......bi........" Chibi glares daggers at hikaru while hikaru laughs it out "What's with the long face, chibi?" "It's you" "Eh,me?.." Chibi makes an effort to persuade hikaru into starting that war but all hikaru did was smile over it and say "There's a reason for my delay chibi" Chibi lets out a deep breath then turns to head back to his room "Do your thing hikaru........" Chibi walks back to his room disappointed at the fact that hikaru didn't want to agree to his request *** Chibi stands at the balcony looking at the horizons like staring at an artwork thinking about hikaru earlier actions Is there some reason hikaru doesn't want to start a war between the embodiment killers and inner gods? Or perhaps he's working with them..... No,no,no...it isn't possible, hikaru can't do that....... Then why Chibi is about to enter his room when he began hearing mild screams from outside. He rushes to the balcony and looks down only to see hikaru stuffing food in his mouth "Hikaru..." Hikaru looks up,smiling at chibi "Didn't you leave already?" "No... I hadn't eaten yet so i had to wait behind" Chibi shakes his head in disappointment Idiot A royal guard runs towards hikaru with a katana in hand "Sir, you left your blade....." "Oh thanks" Hikaru collects it and waves chibi signalling that he wants to leave before being stopped by him with a statement "This will come back to bite you hikaru......... You better do something about it" Hikaru pauses momentarily upon hearing that statement "You and I know the reason why I shouldn't start a war against embodiment killers........." "Huh?...... Wait" Hikaru runs off like a child whose mom just bought a birthday gift and he needs to hurry home to get it Chibi dismisses his subjects gathering below and stares at hikaru till he vanishes from sight What does he mean? Wait don't tell me....... Chibi's grin fades *** Chibi had been the embodiment of death for 500 years now with a flawless reputation of always putting to death when necessary but when it came to the case of the mysterious embodiment killer lately,he was running thin of options to chose from and had to rely on his trump card hikaru who seems to be veering off in a completely different direction than anybody had expected. Embodiments later came to realize that the reason for hikaru's refusal isn't because of his wife,but for reasons he isn't willing to share just yet which began stiring up trouble amongst themselves Chibi receives a letter from an anonymous person which triggers something to occur in chibi's mind "I most do something about hikaru.......and fast " *** Hikaru wanders through the forest and meets taka roasting a boar he had just caught. Taka was dressed in a robe which doesn't fit for someone going on a hunting expenditure "Hey hikaru..." "Why are you dressed like that" "Huh?...... Oh this..." "Yes that" "Just felt like it" Hikaru walks over to his side and sits down, making himself comfortable on the floor "Hey, you have a wife now,why are you still wandering the forests like a beast?" "To keep them safe, that's all...." "I saw you at my brother's place earlier today while i was passing" "I see......" "You're suddenly quiet" "Don't you know, it's said don't talk while eating" "But you're not eating yet......." "It still applies..." "i***t" Hikaru splashes hot ash on taka as they both laugh *** Hikaru and taka lie on the ground after consuming the boar meat without fail, they rest peacefully under the tree as hikaru observes the rather white sky and surrounding mountains till they here an explosion not too far from where hikaru's mansion is located. What Hikaru sit up with a start conflicted on the situation there "Hikaru...... Any ideas on what's happening there?" Hikaru says nothing but shakes his head signalling that there's trouble "Let's go punk......" *** Hikaru mansion entrance is in chaos as guards try to defend it's bronze and gold gates from a different set of guards who are for some reason trying to break in and find hikaru. In the midst of the commotion chibi walks forth to enter through the gates but was stopped by a guard "Chibi sama, why are you doing this" "What is it to you?" Chibi tries to brush the guard aside but the guard stands his ground, determined to not let him pass "Will you let me through?" "I'm afraid not......." "I see...." Chibi slashes his hand at the guard who narrowly blockes but still takes damage which causes him to bleed from his eye Chibi makes another effort to pass but is still stopped by the guard who seems relentless "Seriously?...... You're gonna die before you get a family,fool" "Hikaru sama said no one should enter without his permission" Chibi smirks at that statement "Alright die....." Chibi slashes his hand at the guard to kill him "Chibi!...." Taka swoops in and grabs the guard saving him from certain death while hikaru catches his hand "Why chibi?" Chibi releases himself from hikaru's grip before stepping back "You didn't want to start a war so I'll start it for you...." Hikaru face becomes stern like he was in the middle of a war "Is that so" "Yes....." Chibi walks out there after
