I'm out with some of my friends to go have fun since we're new here and I just turned 18. I stand about 6"8 with caramel color skin and jet-black hair with tribal tattoos. I see myself as a very handsome guy. All I wanna do is find my mate and move on with our lives, is that too much to ask? We get to this club where all I smell is wolves. I'm thinking to myself that this is cool seeing as though where I'm from we don't have clubs like this. We all get out of the car and head into the club. My beta Mark, he's 6"7 with dark brown hair and chocolate color skin. He said he was going to the dance floor for a while. My second and I went to the bar. As I'm heading to the bar I smell something, I ask my friend did he smell that. He looked at me wide-eyed and said, "Dude, you found your mate." But I couldn't tell where she was. Her smell was killing me and my wolf Gage was going crazy continuing to say.

'I'm looking, you f*****g idiot." I say to him.
He just growls and says I'm taking too damn long, but I'm still sniffing the air trying to find her. She seems like she's everywhere, so I just follow the smell. I see her walking from the dance floor to the bar with two men. I stand there and growl, she was beautiful, she looked like a rare flower that is found by an explorer. She was wearing a red silk dress that stopped above the knee. It was red (I growled again). Her hair was long and light brown, her skin was milk chocolate, and she had the most unique color eyes and they were bright purple. Her sent was breath-taking, she smelled like chocolate and roses. I had to go to her but my second stopped me.
"What?" I asked him.
Stopped before saying something. "Um, she's guarded, she must be the daughter of an alpha." He said I look at her and Gage whines at the sight, then she turned towards me. She looked right at me and didn't budge, can't she smell or sense me? I tell my second and he replied that she might not be of age yet. So I just sat at a table looking at her like she was a movie that I didn't want to miss. As her guards are standing there I see them move she must have told them to sit. So they sit one on each side one chair apart from her. So I got an idea for me to get close to her.
"Hey, Dave, do me a favor". I said to him.
"Yea, what's up man? He responded to me.
"Go to the bar and order a drink for me. I'm making my way there. I'm going to sit next to her." I told him.
My beta is dancing with some girl so I mind linked him to meet me at the bar. As I'm heading over, I see another girl running to her. That must be her friend, she starts talking to her. Then, with no hesitation, I see my beta run up to her. They look in each other's eyes no dought about it he found his mate. She then turns to my lovely little mate and hugs her so that gave me a reason to walk over. As I walk towards them her guards jump up blocking her. Damn it, I was almost there. She looked at them and didn't say a word but they just sat down this time even closer to her.
I walk up to them and my beta was happier than a hippie. "Alpha I found my mate, my mate" he said again to me, shaking my head and laughing also happy for him.
"This is Izzy and her luna Rain." he introduced them.
"Hello, Izzy," I said to his mate shaking her hand and then turn to her looking into her beautiful purple eyes.
"Hello, Rain that is a unique name for a beautiful girl." I said to her shaking her hand and also looking into her eyes. Her touch was killing me I was wondering why she can't feel that I'm her mate.
"Well, nice meeting you all, but Izzy it's getting late you know how my dad is, I'll see you later." With that, she called her guards. "Haha, Curly and Moe let's go before daddy kills you." With that, she hugged Izzy and told her she'll text her in the morning and then left. I told my friends I was ready to go myself. They offered to come with me, but I told them it was cool.
I got home and walked in my father told me we had a meeting to go to in a few days. Seeing as though I will be alpha as soon as I found my mate, which I already did. I told my father ok and was about to head upstairs when it came to me.
"Hey dad." I said
"Yea son what is it?" he responded back.
"If you found your mate and she doesn't notice you what does that mean?" I asked
He looked at me as if he was in thought, "well, the only thing I can say is if she doesn't sense you she's either human or not of age yet." My dad explains it to me then he asked me why I told him what happened at the club and what kind of club it was and that answered all my questions.
She wasn't of age! How long do I have to wait for her to be mine? I was lost in thought. So I said goodnight to my dad and headed to my room. I got into my room and lay in my bed trying to go to sleep but I couldn't. All I could think of was her, Rain! So beautiful in so many ways. As I lay in my bed thinking of her I soon fell asleep dreaming of my beautiful purple-eyed Rain.
I woke up that morning getting ready and heading to the packhouse dining room where my mother and father were. "Good morning my lovely son" my mom spoke.
"Good morning mama. How'd you sleep?" I asked her.
"Great Jack, what about you my darling?" she asked,
"I slept amazingly well, mom," I answered back.
"I heard you might have found your mate dear." my mother stated.
"Yes, mama, I have but she's not ready yet." I told her.
"It's ok just be patient she will come you'll see." my mother told me
"I know mom I just have to find her again to keep her near." I let my mother know, and with that, I was deep in thought eating my breakfast.
