*The Meeting* Chapter 4

I was in my room watching Hulu when I heard talking coming from down the hall so I decided to see who it was. I haven't talked to my dad and my uncle in a week. I missed them so much I'm thinking it needed to end. So I got off my bed and headed to where the talking was and it was my father's office so I opened the door.

"Daddy," I say in a low voice.

He looks up with the biggest smile ever, as I'm walking toward him and my uncle with a small smile I look at them.

"Yes, Rain is everything ok?" he asked me

So I answered him and started talking "well I'm sorry that I have been a brat for this past week I know you only had the men guard me for my safety and I shouldn't have acted that way.

Then my father and my uncle cut me off. Just looking at me than behind me. So I turn around and see we had a guest. My cheeks heated because I had pretty much booty shorts and a tank on. Meaning I was in my nightclothes and it was 8:00 at night. Who the f**k has meetings at night but knowing my father he would.

"OMG! 1 I'm sorry daddy I didn't pay any attention to our guests. I'm so so so sorry. 2 I met you a week ago at the wolf club. Your beta is Izzy's mate" and I stopped real quick. "Yes, daddy, Izzy found her mate. 3 Why in the moon goddess are you holding a meeting at 8:00 daddy? For moon goddess' sake I'm in my PJs!" I spat out in a rant.

"Okay, that was a lot coming out of you". my dad said

"Calm down," my father and uncle said at the same time.

My dad patted a seat next to him for me to sit I asked if I could change he shook his head no. Me being a daddy's girl I pouted.

Jacksons p.o.v

As she walks in and doesn't notice me or my father she starts to apologize to her father and assumes his beta is her uncle. Seeing what she has on I growl enough for my father to hear. He mind links me, "is that her"? he asked, "yes dad it's her." I answered his question him seeing her got my blood boiling.

Then as she turns her beautiful body around in shock she starts ranting. It was cute as she went on and on. she then remembers me from the week before at the club my heart and my eyes lit up. Gage goes off,f he's going crazy.

MATE! MATE!

CALM DOWN

"Jeez, chill you stupid mutt." I say to him.

As her father motions her to sit next to him Gage whines. Before she walks over she asked if she could change her clothes. He tells her no ( that made me growl) so she sat down.

Markus p.o.v (Rain's father)

I'm at my desk having my meeting with the alpha and his son that just moved 2 territories down. As we talk, my office door opens seeing my beautiful Rain walk in not paying attention. She starts talking and apologizing about this past week, to how she has not talked to me and her uncle. I and my beta (uncle) both say her name to stop her. She follows our gaze and sees we have guest. She stops and looks then starts ranting about how she met alpha Calvin's son a week ago. With the looks he is giving my baby girl I knew she was his mate. Her not knowing due to the fact she isn't 18 years old yet.

"Now back to our conversation, how is it that you found your territory and did not know you were two territories away from mine?" I asked him.

"Well alpha Markus, when we arrived I had some of my men do a perimeter check and that's when they told me about the other pack living two territories away from us. That's when I had my beta come and request a meeting to inform you that I am not a rouge and that we mean no harm to you whatsoever."

"Well, alpha Calvin it seems there's only one thing we can do to ensure that." I told him.

As I wait for his response, I look at Rain fast asleep in the recliner next to me. So I had my beta pick her up and take her to her room. As he does what I told him to do, I hear alpha Calvin's son growl.

"Excuse me son is there a problem here?" I ask him

"Um, I'm sorry alpha Markus but sorry to say that your daughter is my mate." he replies.

"So you are 18." I reply to him.

"Yes sir but there seems to be a problem with that." He tells me.

"What is that young man?" I ask him

"Well, it seems that she can't sense me and I wondered if you could tell me why sir." He looked hurt and pleadingly at me.

"When did you turn 18 son?" I asked him

"Last week sir, and what does that have to do with your daughter?" he asked.

"Well, seeing that you are 18 and she is only 17 years old she won't notice you until she is 18. sorry son."

I then went back to his father to continue our meeting. "As I was saying alpha Calvin there is only one thing that we have to do" I state.

"And that is what alpha Markus?" he asked.

"Well seeing as though we are two territories away from each other and that my daughter is your son's mate and we can't separate them we should have a treaty. Now, what do you say?"

"That sounds good alpha Markus let's do it that way my son and your daughter will never be apart. we should have a party in a few days what do you think?"

"That sounds great we can have it in the middle of the territories to unite us as allies." I say

"Well, it's done we will come together in a few days." He states

Before they leave out his son speaks "um Alpha Markus may I ask when Rain's birthday is?"

"Rain's birthday isn't until December." He says calmly
