*Hanging out* Chapter 5

Rain's p.o.v

I woke up the next day in my room trying to figure out how I got there, I remember that I fell asleep in my dad's office while he was in his meeting with the alpha from the Red Stone pack. I get out of bed and head to the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower. My phone was ringing so I answer it.

Hey, Rai what are you doing today? Izzy asked before I could speak.

Hey, Iz nothing just about to get ready for the day, why what's up? I ask her

Well... I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with me and Mark? she asked

Um.. sure what time?

Noon is that fine?

Um, it's 11:00 now that doesn't give me long to get ready Izzy, and I'm gonna be a 3rd wheel you know. I partially yell at her

It's fine we'll just wait outside so go get ready and just to let you know your not gonna be the 3rd wheel. She tells me and then hangs up.

Smh that girl I tell you she's going to be the death of me. I head to the bathroom to get ready seeing as though I don't have much time to get ready. I jumped in the shower I was in the shower for about 15 mins then I brushed my teeth, did my make-up, and did my hair. Then I went to my room to get a dress, I thought about it and grabbed a pair of light blue jean shorts and a purple tank top and added a pair of white jordans with purple stripes. Then I walked downstairs and see dad and uncle Jake watching tv.

Bye, Dad, I'm going out with Izzy I'll be back later love you. I said stopped in my tracks by him and uncle Jake.

Not so fast speedy. They said at the same time.

But... I said

No, but just have to tell you something first. my dad said

Ok, daddy what is it. I asked

You have to be back here by 5:00. he said

Ok, but why? I ask him

Just do as I say rai ok.

Ok, daddy. I kissed his cheek and walked out.

Ok, that is very weird he usually has his reasons as to why he wants me to do things. But I'll do what he asks for, now it's time to have fun.

Hey, Rain are you ready to go. Izzy said

Yea let's get outta here before daddy stops me. Just before I and Izzy get in my car, we were stopped yet again this time it was by Curly and Moe. I rolled my eyes and look at them.

Why are yall here daddy meet with the Red Stone pack last night so I don't need them?

Well, alpha did tell us that so we have to do our jobs sorry princess. Curly answers

No this isn't fair, so I mind link my dad about whats going on. "Daddy why is Curly and Moe tailing me again. I thought you said as soon as the problem was fixed I wouldn't need them." "Honey just for now it's not yet handled." " But daddy please?" No, and that's fina!" and with that, he cut the link.

Ugh..... Let's go Curly and Moe go get the car. They both nod and bow and head to get the car.

I and Izzy wait for like a second and then get into the car and head to the movie theater. It was silent for a while until Moe asked where we were going Izzy said happy "the theater how are you driving and not know where we are going? she yelled at him.

As we were driving I was deep in thought about Izzy and her mate. I like meeting new people and I hope with our new friends hopefully we can become very good friends. But come to think of it he never told me his name or so that I remember him telling me.

We soon arrived and Izzy damns near kill herself jumping out of the car I laugh at her. She was so happy to see her mate she ran right into his arms. I'm so happy for her, I just hope I find my mate as she did. I go ahead and get out of t the car to see the soon-to-be alpha of the Red Stone pack help me from the car.

I smile at him and say "thank you" to him.

"Your welcome princess and good afternoon," he says to me

"Good afternoon um what is your name I don't think you ever told me,

"I ask him

" Oh um, it's um... Jackson princess Rain" he tells me.

Jackson's p.o.v

She looks at me confused. "um, are you ok Jackson you seem a little nervous" she asked

Oh, yea I'm fine just a little tired seeing as though our fathers wanted to have a meeting so late.

Oh, yea that's right how'd that go anyway, and second how did I end up in my room?

It went great and your father had his beta take you. and with that, she walked away from me and walks next to Izzy with her guards behind her.

We got inside the theater, I and mark stood there while she and Izzy argued back and forth about a movie. that lasted for about 20 mins. Then they both agreed to see pet cemetery 2. So we head in, and Mark and Izzy head to the snack stand to get their snacks. Rain kept walking, I stopped her before she went to get her seat.

Hey, aren't you going to get anything? I ask her

Um no I forgot my money, one Izzy was rushing me and two my dad stopped me to tell me to be home at a certain time have no clue why. And three I don't want to wait in that line, but ima go find us some seats before they fill I hate sitting all the way in the back.

Ok see you inside I then walk over to Mark and Izzy at the snack station. Hey Izzy can I ask you a question?

Yea what's up Jackson? she responds

Um, what does Rain like as far as snacks? I ask her

Why? she replies

um, I guess I'm going to tell you since your best friend... I stay silent for a moment.

go on she says.

Um, Rain is my mate and she doesn't know that because she isn't I was cut off by Izzy

she isn't 18 yet? she said

Yea, that's it so I'm going to try everything I can to keep her by my side whether it's us being friends, and going from there I'm going to do it. I tell her

Well to let you know your gonna have to wait for 5 months seeing as her birthday is on December 18th and it's only July. she tells me.

Yea I know her dad told me. I let her know

That's fine I'll just have to start working on it, I tell her, and after that, she and Mark walk off before going in she tells me that Rain likes nachos, chocolate-covered Rasin's, and raspberry tea. Once they left I grab all of those and headed to the theater that we are in.

I see that there is only one seat left and that was next to Mark so I mind link him and ask him to switch with me. He nods and moves to the other side of Izzy, I sat down next to Rain.

Oh, you must be hungry huh? she says to me.

Oh no, this is for you I tell her as she looks at me wide-eyed with those amazing purple eyes.

How did you know that these things were my favorite? she asked

I looked at Izzy and she nods at me. I didn't I just decided to get what I liked hoping that you eat them, I told her, but I wasn't lying I do like them too mainly nachos.

So with that, we watched the movie, as the movie played and all I could do is look at her beautiful face and just got lost in thought of how I wanted to hold her, feel her touch. I was then snapped back to reality.

Um, Jackson are you ok? she asked me

Oh yea sorry, I was lost in my thoughts. I couldn't tell her I was thinking about her that would make me seem like a creep. As time went by we were all watching the movie not all of us Mark and Izzy were making out and Rain was watching the movie watching her so deep into the movie she got scared and almost jumped into my lap. I laughed until I felt her skin against mine, it sent chills through my body.

Sorry, I didn't mean to do that just got a little scared. She tells me

It's okay everyone gets scared. I said with a smile

After that, the movie was over and we headed out of the theater. As we walk across the parking lot we heard some people talking. They were talking about rain.

Hey look everyone it's the princess and look she got her puppies with her. A girl said laughing with her other friends.

Oh, yea look she has some new friends Izzy isn't her only friend now a boy said laughing.

Next thing we know they were walking towards us. Rain said come on let's go before things get worse. As soon as we started walking we heard someone speak.

Hey Rain where are you going I know you heard us, princess. You're not going to answer us the girl said with a bow.

No, I am not Maddie now can you leave me alone I'm not in the mood for this, I'm out with my friends enjoying myself, and with that Rain turned the girl didn't like that. As he pushed Rain down to the ground and told her well I'm here to ruin it.

Rain fell to the ground before anyone could catch her I look over to see Izzy getting ready to shift. Thank the moon goddess that her guards came pulling up and jumping out of the car.

They look at the girl who was standing above Rain and then down at Rain who was bleeding and crying, that pissed me off.

Did you do this Maddie? he said to the girl.

No, I didn't she tripped I sware. She told Moe that's what Rain called him

I stopped and told them she did do this and two it's a good thing you came because Izzy here was about to shift to protect her and we all know we do not need that.

With that Curly doesn't say two words said to Maddie. Maddie just know when we get back to the packhouse we will be letting the alpha know what you have done to his daughter. It's a shame jealousy does not look good on you. Just because she is the alpha's daughter.

That's enough, just take me home Now! and with that Rain walks away still crying. And be for she leaves she looks at me.

Thank you for your help I appreciate it, then look at Izzy and she says bye. Before she leaves I ask her if she wanted to hang out again? She replied yes and walks off after looking at Izzy for a moment, then she got into the car crying and they pulled off.

Hey, Jackson give me your phone. Izzy tells me

Why? I asked

Just do it I don't have all day she says.

So I do it, I gave her my phone she was on it for a few seconds and then hands me my phone with a smile.

I look and see that she gave me Rain's phone number. I smile with happiness like a little boy in a candy store.

She smiles and tells me no, now you can get to work on keeping her.

And that is what I'm going to do.
