When Elizabeth opened her eyes once again, it was evident that she was in a different place. The walls around her were rocky, and they had some water dripping down. As she looked around, Elizabeth noticed that her hands were chained to the wall with silver chains. Regular silver would hurt a vampire more; however, being half human, the silver was doing nothing more than slightly irritating the skin.
Elizabeth tried to pull her wrists away, but all that did was rattle the chains. As she looked for a way to escape the door in front of her opened to reveal the two men from earlier. As Elizabeth noticed them, her gaze turned into a sharp glare which froze both men in their tracks. "Hey, I thought you said that blow would keep her knocked out for a few hours. That doesn't look like she is still knocked out." The one with the beard said. "Hey, it wasn't my fault that you didn't hit her hard enough, James." The other replied. "What did I tell you about using names Eric?" James asked
"How about this girl, your both idiots," Elizabeth said sarcastically ending the small argument. "Who the hell asked you to stop our argument. You're in our hands, aren't you scared?" Jacob asked, looking at her strangely. "What would the point if being scared when you aren't that scary? I've looked death in the face and trust me; it was much scarier than you. Just know that if I get free, I will not hesitate to kill you." Elizabeth growled glaring at both men.
"Haha, what a little spitfire we have here... However what if we hold a knife right here?" John said, placing a knife at Elizabeth's stomach where her unborn child was. Elizabeth immediately stopped struggling for fear of the sword injuring the baby. "Well, it appears there is something in there. How surprising it is to us that a Dark One can get pregnant." Jacob said smirking at Elizabeth. "Why would I be killing them if I was one of them?" Elizabeth asked. "You're lying we have solid proof that you are mated to the prince of the Dark Ones. Therefore you must be one as well, and it is a well-known fact that Dark Ones can only mate with each other." John said, slowly moving the knife up and down on Elizabeth's stomach.
"If you harm my child, I will kill you myself," Elizabeth growled watching the knife as it moved in her stomach. "Looking at the knife will not make it disappear my dear. Besides, our leader has yet to interrogate you. You must have some information about the hidden base. Something like that will be beneficial to our organization." John said, removing the knife from her stomach. "Hey what do you think leader will do when he learns about her pregnancy? Surely her mate will do anything for her." Jacob said as he walked to the door. "Her mate might. However, most Dark Ones only care about themselves. And he may abandon her." John answered as he also walked toward the door. "Be a good little Dark One, and don't go anywhere, sweetheart." John laughed as he exited the door with Jacob following him.
Elizabeth sighed as the two left then looked down at we still flattened the stomach. "Don't worry baby; I won't let anything happen to us. No matter what happens, I will make sure you come into this world safely." She whispered to the baby. As she looked up, she notices a tiny window of light coming from above. "Alec, my love, please come and find us soon." She begged, looking up at the small fire.
Alec had been searching all night for Elizabeth without any luck. He sighed and finally returned to the cave dejected. Most of the men patted him on the back and offered words of encouragement. Alec went straight to the room that both she and Elizabeth shared. He flopped down on the bed, taking a deep whiff of her scent, which was all over the bed. Alec closed his eyes and kept a memory of her curled in his arms. As he imagined it, there was a knock at the door. He quickly opened his eyes and opened the door to reveal Damien there. "I know that you are depressed by losing Elizabeth, and I have called some help to locate her," Damien said, moving aside to reveal Ben standing there. "I heard the details from Damien; I'm going to help you find my little sister," Ben promised. He walked into the room, and before anyone could say anything, he punched Alec in the face. "That is for letting my sister get captured you are lucky I don't do something worse to you Alec," Ben said quickly turning around and leaving the cave.
"Tell me again why you had to bring him into this?" Alec asked Damien holding his jaw. "Because you know as well as I do that he can continue the searching during the day and his information network is better than our own," Damien answered, offering Alec a hand. Alec grabbed the hand and allowed Damien to pull him up. "Besides, I figured he might do something worse if he found out another way." Damien added. " that was no easy punch there, Damien." Alec said. "Ah come on if you can't take a punch like that then that is sad, Alec." Damien teased
Ben sighed as he drives to the warehouse, which served as the base of operations for his group. Their recruits were trained, and any Dark Ones who were captured were interrogated there as well. The first thing he had to do was send some men to help with the search for Elizabeth. The question was who the one was that took Elizabeth. As soon as Ben figured out who took her, he was going to kill them. When he arrived at the warehouse, there were several young people training. As well as most of the older fighters either watching, the younger soldiers or helping train them.
As soon as Ben approached to ring, two men approached him. "Hey Ben, we captured a Dark One, they are waiting downstairs for you," John said. "Since when do you two capture Dark Ones? Every time you're out in the field, you always kill the Dark Ones. Whatever though lead the way, Jacob and John." Ben said eager to interrogate the Dark One that they captured or any information on his younger sister's kidnapping. As he approached the door, his eagerness was about to burst; however, when he opened the door, the sight before him made a strangled cry came from his mouth.
Elizabeth had hunger her head in sadness because she could hear three different set of footsteps headed her way. "No matter what I must not show weakness. I must remain strong for my baby." She thought. Elizabeth heard the door open, and the strangled cry that came from one of the strangers had her head snapping up quickly. As soon as she locked eyes with one of the men, her face relaxed, and she whispered "Brother."
