BECOMING THE WITCH OF ARENDALL

My story start's sometime in the early 1800's, in a pleasure house. As you may have guessed my mother isn't your average Lady, she's a harlot, with a twist she doesn't sell her body but seducing men into paying her. Hence she had a lot of enemies in the pleasure house , but they were right to be worried, my mother wasn't a normal human. She was a witch and a powerful one at that. She kept this a secret because witches were being hunted at the time. They only came for the old weak ugly witches. They didn't know witches are beautiful too. Everything was fine until my mum became pregnant, not only was it impossible for a witch to be pregnant it was also bad for a pleasure worker. My mum's coven were wary of her because of her pregnancy then they kicked her out of the coven, and a witch without a coven is like a chicken in the s*******r house. So in the cold winter my mother gave birth to me, there was no midwife no money just a woman under a bridge. After a while my father came into the picture my mom's only love he was a knight. He was fighting the war but he reassured my mom he'll come back for us. We only got news of his death. He was celebrated as a war hero cause his death ended the war. My mum fell into deep depression , I tried my best to calm her but to no avail . Her last words to me were " Ophelia I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm not strong enough to protect you but now that Richard is dead I don't see the point of living, please forgive me" . She took her life and left me alone, when I had lost all hope my father's brother uncle Simon took me in, he was awarded the position of Baron from the King for my father's great feat. My father had officially certified me as his child so it an obligation that came with his new status. Thus, the beginning of my suffering in the Brière house
