Liv An Hour Later We had reach Forest Grave. Two Deltas gather the gifts that were made for the injured wolves and headed out. While one Delta walks Travis and I inside to meet the others packs. Finally making it to a very crowded room. I see we are not the last to arrive. Moments later all packs Alphas, Lunas, and Betas were presence. Travis inform me that most cases Gammas attend too when Lunas are requested. But he still didn’t trust Sarah so she stayed back with Mason. In the room you clearly see on my side there is the Red Mist pack. Going around the oval table there’s Stone Ledge pack, Forest Grave, Grande de Elmo and then us. “At this time I believe it’s best the Lunas are escorted out to their own room to talk.” Asshole Alpha Baker said. I don’t question and stood up with the others. Travis grips my hand and said I didn’t have to. I lean down and kiss his cheek. “I’ll be back.” I wasn’t sure why but still followed all the other Lunas to a near by room. All their Gamma’s follow behind. All the Lunas were very nice and grew to the new culture I had presented. We all gathered in and said our hellos. Taking a seat we begin to chat. “I wanted to start with thanking all your Alphas for coming when called. This was a big hit. And without all of your help. We would of been weaken.” Luna June of Forest Grave said. Luna Brooke of Stone Ledge begin to talk about the fright of the calls. As did Luna Lilly of Red Mist. Luna Martina of Grande de Elmo talked about how we shouldn’t worry. Starting a conversation of the old school way of how Lunas stay back and cared for the pups along with their male Gammas while Betas and Alphas fight. The conversations long go and I see we were not talking about the moral details of the main subjects. And then it hit me. We are being pushed out of what our title subjects of us. “Lunas?” I called out. They stopped their girly giggles over pups and other sorts. “Why are we here away from the men who are actually discussing the pure issue. Why are we not with our Alphas?” I asked. They all gave me look and I begin to feel stupid and out of placed. “Luna Liv.” Luna Martina said so sweet. “Most meetings where we are attended to. We do not say or make any calls. It’s all Alphas.” “We’re just pretty candy for them. In the meetings, no one listens or cares. We support our Alphas that’s all.” Luna Lilly says with a hair flip. “We have a voice ladies. We run our packs together with our Alphas. We have the rights.” I responded. Luna Brooke chuckle at me. “Dear girl we do. On our lands we do. We are like royals. But this here is a man job. Business as you can say.” “It’s our business too. We are not mated to just have pups and stay home while the men fight until the death.” I cleared. “Everyone is different. You are aware of our kind yes Luna?” I nod to Luna Martina. “We are not you. Not near as brave. We choose to stay back for a reason if the Alpha shall fall. For as far back as it goes. Lunas must bend the morals for their Alpha and people.” Luna June says with a frown. “But you are. The men has find ways to make you think you can’t. Morals are not put here when they are being taken.” “So what, huh? So we gear up and fight aside with them. What amount of weapons will protect us if not them?” Luna June ask. I looked around and see all the Lunas has be brainwashed to think they can’t. They had just forgotten our truth. Women are all brave and strong. “You do not have to fight the battles as they do. But that doesn’t mean you can’t.” “Of course it does. We made a choice. Lunas don’t fight. The Lunas who live the longest don’t run off to the battlefields. We attend to our people.” Luna Brooke says. “You’ll be kill sooner. It’s a trap to never seek out the range. But..” I pause. “Making calls for the pack does great things. Our titles have just the same meaning as them. Even if you..” Luna Martina stood up. “We parted because we are not equal. Why do you think we are here?” “Lunas. We are not because you allow it to be. We can be brave, strong, wise, and lead just like them. And for better we do it with them. We. You should not have to bend yourselves.” “We are told to bite our tongues at these things. We can not embarrasses our Alphas.” Luna Lilly exclaim. “It is not embarrassing to stand up and speak your mind. Being the Luna our people need. They’ll argue and so forth. But imagine the many agreements if we let our tongues taste the air we were told was poison.” They all nod and finally it seems they understood. “We have the right. Our morals have upgraded ladies. We make them listen. And if not. They get the dog house.” I added. “I like it.” One Luna says and they all begin to agree. Luna Martina stood up. “Ladies?” She says gracefully with her hands over her chest. “We have a meeting to attend.” We all walked out and ignore the Gammas who tries to dismays us. Reaching the men. We enter the room as if we belong there. Taking our place next to our Alphas. Betas stood up and push their Lunas chairs in. We ignore all the pixilated looks. The room got silent. And soon all eyes drafted off. Unlike Alpha Baker. His eyes darted right at me. Travis growl at his hard glare. “What is the meaning of this.” He roar. “What, you got a problem with the ladies returns?” Travis spit back. I stop myself quick from laughing. As did everyone. Baker’s jaw tick at my mate’s comment. Luna June tug at her mate’s hand. Whispering words to him. I can hear what she say, and he disagrees. I take a stand and stood. Alpha Baker eyes showed his reflection. He barks at me. “This is a place of wolves. Alphas handling business like men. You women don’t make any calls. They can sit and behave. But you are not..” Travis stood up with me. Slamming his hands to the table. “Show some f*****g respect before I make you!” “Okay Alphas! This is not the place. Forest Grave has just been attack.” Alpha Miguel of Grande de Elmo stood up. “Exactly! No vampire or hybrid or whatever creature should be a part of this.” Alpha Baker exclaim. “She has every right!” Luna Martina spoke. Her mate gave her a calm, warning look. Both nodding. Alpha Baker did not approve. This wasn’t new. He hates my existences. And me becoming Luna and anything else was a problem. “She will be Luna soon. She can sit. Just rant on Alpha before you piss yourself.” Alpha Cilian of Stone Ledge snicker. “Why don’t all the ladies leave. I don’t have time for all this mess. My children don’t even fuss this much.” Alpha Luicain of Red Mist huff. He glares at everyone. Even a harsh glare at me. I roll my eyes to his act. “If I may..” I started. “No! You insuff..” Baker Snarl his hate. I grab hold of my mate from attacking. “Watch what you say Alpha!” I yell. Turning heads quick. “What creature! You gonna kill me on my land! Try it!” He threaten. I laugh. And my eyes turn red. Little whispers come but I pay no mind. “Don’t temp me.” “You will be easier to kill then any other.” He say. Travis’s fist rolls. And I know he fights a rage to jump at Baker. I only stick my neck up. Letting him speak. “I will die like any Alpha because I am the greatest creature alive. You are not.” “Is that so Alpha?” I asked calmly. “Creature. I can break an edge of this table and aim it effortlessly at your weakly heart. Ending you now if I chose.” “Make any move and you will bleed out right here bastard!” Malcolm chump down hard on his heel. He too was holding back. Travis take a step toward Baker. And he follows. I chuckle as I whirl up an air wall to part their ways. Alpha Baker eyes lock on me. “How f****d up do you think his life was to be given you? Your death would of been best.” “Baker!” June yelled at him. “I am no fear of death. But if you ask nicely maybe you’ll be lucky like I was and see. I’m sure you’ll see your answer.” In the act I whisper a small spell. Turning both Baker and I’s eyes a dark black mist color. I enter in his mind using my witch and vampire gift combine. Traveling not so deep, but showing him such horror he couldn’t imagine. Few seconds go and I release him as he screams fear into the room now. “You b***h!!” Scattering himself to a wall. Luna June ran up to her mate. Trying to calm him down. Everyone gasp as his hair turns a full white and grey coat. He combs through his head. Growling in such a child roar at me. “You asked Alpha. I was being lady like. I thought you were man enough.” I chuckle at him. He pushes his Luna away. She tries to hold him off. “Don’t think I’m scared of you. My reason is still placed.” “Mmh.” I nod. My phone rings. I look down to see a text from Connie. Placing my finger up. “Excuse me. I am needed to my people.” I said and begin to walk away. Alpha Baker continue his words. I simply ignore him. Travis follows behind me. Slamming the door hard. “Elizabeth.” He whispers. I turn and cup his face. “Don’t. Just don’t.” He leans in just a bit. Locking eyes. “Let’s go home. f**k Baker. I will rip up our..” “Shh shh no boys.” I coo him. Making my hand run down his torso. He grabs my hand. Stopping it in place. “We can survive without their alliance. But that doesn’t mean we don’t need them. Things will collapse if we lose them. Their people shouldn’t lose our protection because he’s an asshole.” “f**k him. They can handle themselves.” “As people say about us. I don’t want to be a reason this alliance of brotherhood is destroy of. We are adults now. Who cares if he dislike me. Alliances isn’t made over friendships.” Travis nods. Smiling at me crazy. “Damn you are a hell of woman Elizabeth Marshall. We are the luckiest man in this realm to have you.” I blush a bit. “Okay go on. You finish up.” “And you.” Pulling me in. I push him back. “Connie called. Baker gave me a headache. And all that girl talk mess was just.. ugh.” I sigh. “I will call her and check in. I’ll wait outside for you.” Travis goes on to kiss my cheek. Saying his goodbye. I go to call Connie. Only for her to tell me she was bored. And didn’t want to head home just yet. “When are you done? I want to go clubbing or something!” “Connie it’s light out.” I laughed. “Mason is boring. Sarah and Kan left to do gross pregnant couple crap. I need you Liv.” She whines. “Let’s do something.” I shake my head at her whining purring in my ear. “Ookay okay. How about we have medi-pedis. Watch horror films in the pitch dark?” I hear a small silent. “There’s a new movie in theaters. Got demons and s**t. Let’s go without the boys. They’ll only complain about nightmares.” My smile slips away. I turn my body to cover myself. “I promised Travis and Malcolm I’ll stay closer to them. It’s not safe wandering around right now.” “Protective mate rawr I get it. No problem.” She says. “Connie I’m sorry if things are different right now we..” I try to apologize but Connie stops me before I rant on. My chest close up. “No girl don’t. They’re right. I don’t think you should be out anyways. Let’s do your idea. But lets make the boys join us.” She giggle in a evil laugh. Turning my mood back around. “Totally.” I cheers. Connie cheers through the phone and I can hear her yelling at Mason about movie films. And how his feet stinks. I hung up knowing they’ll just argue until I get back. I wait for Travis to return so we can enjoy the rest of out day. Knowing we all need this day to end good.
