Days Later

Aahh

These last few days has been good. A little too good. At night alone to my thoughts. I get this notch feeling that something is about to happen. My nightmares lessen but grew darker. More than usual. And when my mate wraps his legs over mine. Bear hugging my body. I don't understand the dreams. I cradle his arms and tighten him in. Kissing their hands. I thank them for their safety.

My home.

Things have been calm since I agreed with my mates to be more vigilant. I lower my own morals that I know and grew for them. I trusted them and their fate. My stomach was in knots that told me to just do it and don't think. There's not enough time. But my mate had another plan than I. I love Malcolm and Travis so much. I stayed put on the land just like they ask me. I stay near Gamma's side. Feeling better with her when he's busy.

Travis was still not happy but after a big fight I told him to suck it up and at least go congratulated her and Kan. He pouted and I made sure with a harsh talk that he apologize to Sarah for what happen that day in the spell room.

Turns out. When it happen. Kan went crazy and attack Travis for hurting his pregnant mate. They pulled him off of Travis before he can retaliate. So when Travis apologize, Kan did too. And then they just laughed it off and went on to being men again.

I made my way over the bridge and watch as everyone walks on by. I enjoy the nice breeze. Allowing my fingers to dance on a wind train I made. Circling over as my fingers dance.

Ring Ring

The train disappear as I grab my phone to answer. "Liv speaking?"

"Hi Luna. It's Jamie, up at the office." Black Harvest's secretary.

"Yes hello. How can I help you?" Jamie calls or text me since I can not mind-link yet. In all honesty. She would just text me.

"Yes umm. I have not inform Alpha yet. I thought it was best to tell you since you were requested."

"Okay from who?" I asked. I turn around and the bar of the bridge touches my spine.

"The Witches Elders called for a meeting here with you. And the Wolves Council did too. They called right after the other demanding them both schedule with you and Alpha. Mainly you. Said it was urgent. And wanting both there together."

My stomach drop. The both of them. Together. On the land. Together.

"When are they coming?" Jamie got quiet. And my stomach didn't settle to her quietness. "Jamie? When are they coming?" I asked again.

"Tomorrow evening." She swallow the words hard.

I nod and my body froze a second. "Okay Jamie. Thank you for informing me first. I will let Alpha know."

"Yes Luna of course." Jamie hangs up.

I held my stomach tightly into my palms. I breath in. I breath out. Repeating until I feel the warmth return back to my body.

"f**k!"

Travis

Today was the day. One of the biggest meeting to happen. I know for Elizabeth this had to be the worst. I sit her down on my lap. Brush her hair to the side. I lay kisses down her neck. Her hand finds the nape of my neck. Following with her head back.

"I know what you boys are trying to do."

"What? We can't get a little cozy with our witch without there being a reason?" I suckle on her mark. Making a soft moan break out her throat.

"It's not gonna help my nerves. Nothing will." She sighs.

I stop my kisses and grunted. She turns her head to look me in the eyes. She combs my beard and kiss my lips. I grunted once more. "Shall you always let them bother your pretty mind. I have told you Elizabeth. Nothing they say will change our future."

She looks up. So many questions in her eyes. "Even with the connection of our bond. I'm sorry you boys don't quite understand what it is to deal with this. I'm doing my best. But if you two want better then I can just pack my stuff and.."

I lean in quick and kiss her lips hard. She pulls back but I grip her close and pull her in. "Enough of that nonsense you hear me. I have no problem chaining you up if you even think of leaving us. Our heart will aways belong to you. Only Moon Goddess can separate us."

Her expression doesn't change from its long frown. I lift her chin to look into my eyes. "Got it!" My chest roars to her.

She nods before wrapping her arms around me. I hate to feel the sorrow I bring to her. For her entire life, she has known sorrow and betrayal over and over again. I wanted different. Change her culture. Give her better. Yet I feel just as same.

"We will do better for her. We stand tall in the honor of our love for our mate. Elizabeth will grew to understand. In new coming it all has been. She will know."

My phone rings as I get a text from Gamma up by the gates.

"Alpha. The Elders are here. I have escorted them to the room."

"Thank you Gamma. We are heading there now." I replied back.

"It's time?" Elizabeth asked me.

I nod and kiss her nose. "They're just concern over nothing. You. We got this. Okay."

"Okay."

As we walk hand in hand to meet the Elders. I can feel Elizabeth's nerves jumping up and down. She has a train of upbraiding their hate and disclaims. But at the same time. Her difference of leading such lives of other she feel as if she may fail in ways. I do what I can as a mate to encourage her. But nothing seems to work.

"We need to prove it to her. She needs to believe she can. With us. We need to do better."

Elizabeth is strong. She over came so much on her own. I feel she may never need us. And one day she will realize it. I want her to stay and never have these thoughts. I'm sick of these Elders crap. They only take and take. She's not use to this world. Her life before was fill with solitude. She thinks pleasing them is better. It's not. Not for us it's not.

Getting closer. She pulls away. I know the idea of just them here pulls a strange in her and us. Normally we meet the Elders at the gates for a respected welcoming. But I guess today it all flow over their thick heads.

"Goddess knows what going on both Elders minds."

"I don't know Malcolm. Just having them here, together. Doesn't seem good. But let's put it back like no other."

I know soon these meetings will end. No more rules this, demands that. Pack over the world sending request and useless jabber jabbers for our sakes. I was done with this all. Malcolm and I wanted to just live a life with our mate. And everyone keeps butting in.

*Creak of the door opening*

We walk in with our heads up. We take our seats. Not one Elder stood up. They all sat there. Eyeing our move. Once we sat. I grab her hand and whisper in her ear.

"Imagine them in their underwear's. Or better. Imagine what I'll do to you without your underwear."

My hand cover her high thigh. She clenched hard. "Not now boys. Later." Hiding a chuckle.

"We call this meeting upon you two to talk about the future that may be happening here." A male witch says.

"We had many calls come forth. Many concerns and many such broken rules. It surprise us little to hear one call from the other. As this person matches the word both councils have spoken a part of. With little to say. We thought it was best to bring us all here now." Elder Frank explains.

"Be advise this is not because of one call. This was a concern we had for a long time." A Sister witch name Paige says.

Elizabeth stands. "I just want to let you all know we have received just the same if not more. I understand on both grounds you see differences. Be assure I am. We are doing what is best for all."

"Sister Liv?" A male Elder says. "It has seems that expanse you made. The word of what is there spread. Words says there's wars. Weapons of people and animals. Ancient magic. A dark force is coming and you lead. Our people worry and it seems the others are angry on this. What do you have to say?" He says after a small look over everyone.

"Brother Karl." She says softly. "Those are just rumors spread by more rumors. I understand it's hard for anyone to get my mate bond with a wol.."

"Enough of your run downs hybrid! We are aware of the mess you are preparing.." I stood up quick and fight the urge to throw my chair at Alpha Kieth.

"You will call her by her given name! She will take her title as Luna in a few moons times. Luna Liv or Mrs. Armani is her name!" I shouted.

Liv runs her palms down my arms trying to ease me down. But I couldn't take my eyes off Alpha's hate. I wanted nothing more than to tear his windpipe out.

"Come clean to the absurd corruptions you two are doing! What game do you think bringing witches and werewolves together?" He shouted back.

"This is no different than the old times before! We have live together and done fine."

"Alpha Travis time has change and we all have change. The world has change. Mating was not part of it. And as Alpha there's rules and goals you must meet. Can you say you still make them after today?" Alpha Stan asked with a high brow.

"We are fated mates. Moon Goddess brought us together. I can't see the future and say what will happen. But I give my life to my Elizabeth." I unwrap her hand from my arm. Taking it before my lips to kiss. "As Alpha I will sacrifice anything to be with her."

"You will end your bloodline for her? Even when the world is pulling you two apart you will stay at her side? Are you willing to give up your pack Alpha Travis?" Sister Gal who was here at the Blessing asked me.

"Fated mates are soul tied. The moment I saw her. To the moment I chose to not took a life without her for my own failures coming. I was in agony. I never wanted to live that way again. It does not matter she's not a wolf. Or if I am a witch. She has my heart until I die under our Goddess's light."

"What's this army you make of? A powerful hybrid is will of doing on her own." Elder Frank gave us a sharp look.

"It seems you two hit the lottery on enemies here. Even your covens and packs have a say on who they continue with." Sister Paige says.

"We get the loath our relationship brings and my coming as Luna along with Luna Clara doesn't sit right with many." Elizabeth starts.

"Sister Liv it begins to be less on whether you're truly mates or not. What you do in your private time is your doing. But one thing we say is no.." Sister Gal says before she was interrupted.

"It's a lie! Why do you think we don't co-exist! She's a monster that has something of your dark magic to do with! They're gearing up some kind of clash." Alpha Kieth says.

"Alpha and Sister are right. We did live among together once. A long time ago. But any relation of any kind was not allow. Too many wrongs." Karl states.

He turns and stood up. Liv follows and takes a step towards him. Meeting the panel.

"We've been lean with you Sister. We see the good with you. We see how you two are connected. But the red glowing eyes that follow around you both is a hard miss. And now more people are at risk. Innocent people and children. We need to know the safety. The person that will do such sacrifice you said before us."

"We take every life as our own. It is not what you worship or what you were born in. We both agreed to put our people in Black Harvest and Luna Clara first." Many nod to her quick reply.

"And who comes first?" Alpha Stan ask.

"Our people!" I say.

"Until when?" Sister Paige ask. "This is new but some say the wolves protect the wolves. And the witches have to stand alone."

"No one is alone! We come together." I say.

"And what do you say to your half boars Mrs. Armani." Elder Frank ask.

"The witches.."

"Your vampire's dear. Are they coming as a clan too? Are they part of your plan? Is there a hoarding you're making for warfare?" He ask.

"Don't Frank! The mix of breeding stinks around here already. Our kind will be wipe out if they breed. Ugh the sickening." Alpha Kieth say.

"Our people get along well. I have no talks of war or weapons or any use of any witch or wolf.."

"Vampires have been near yes. It's been smelled near by. What's your plan to keep thriving? Any breeding or any more of this nonsense we hear. We will have to step in." Elder Gio says. He says it with a threat.

"Elizabeth will be Luna and lead with me. I follow her under the covens rule for Luna Clara. We set a plan for as long as we can.."

"Have you pick a she wolf to breed your heir? To continue our ways. No word of your choosing has been spoke of, Alpha. Do we need to pick for you?" Elder Frank ask.

I feel Elizabeth seep down. So I stood up. Sending her a hearted bond.

"We are not. She will carry my pup or witch.."

"Her death will cause the try of breeding. You can try but death is high." Alpha Stan says.

"I am aware of the taken in your world. I do what's needed to strive. Our Sisters and Brothers here are home." Elizabeth shouted.

"Home?" Gio say in a chuckle. "What home is this if you have no peace of safety. What's a pack without a.."

"I stand before you all to make.." Elizabeth tries to talk but an Elder step in.

"Sister we spoke on how strong you wanna make and we see you can. But do be sure to not fall in doing so." Elder Karl say.

"Any sign of this monstrosity, we will have no choice but to step in. We warn you to stop now. Black Harvest is on thin ice now." Elder Frank say.

"You two have time to go back to your old lives. Forward decisions as before." Said Alpha Stan.

"Do whatever you think but you do not make the calls. My family has done many things you didn't accept before l. And now we are the strongest pack. Others call for my advise and my men to stand with. My reign grew and with Elizabeth we shall rise higher." I reform them.

"There's nothing right of any of this. Your life is your life." Alpha Stan says. I see others gave him a look. Expecting him to say more but he smiles.

"Sister and Alpha." Sister Paige calls. "With any home there's little to do to keep. But it takes your life line in doing so. We only ask from prior words. Do not bring the fallen of your strive too far." She gives us a nod with her chin high in the air.

"Make it assure the life here and any others do not fall. You can try all ways. Yet our laws are far from theirs. Do where the sun shines the brightest." Sister Gal say.

"Allow your moon to guide you two in a glories life with whatever evil that comes for you. Because it will." Brother Karl says.

"Thank you Elders." I stand next to my mate. "There's always evil. This is why our people fall on their own. But with our reign I continue our line of knowledge."

I see Alpha Kieth's jaw tick. "You can not purify the lands that soaks blood. You will cause more and our kind will ki.."

"She is like no other. Blood runs thicker and stain. She helps and spreads the blood that picks to kill ours. And one day she will do so for yourself." I tell them. I begin to drown my rage.

"This will be the last warning." Elder Gio says.

"Any threat that comes. We will kill together. I will rip their hearts out to create a drink for her."

"Your Elders Luna Liv, have given you a calling. We still need to see if you can obey by our say." Alpha Stan say.

"I have taken my role serious the moment I chose to stay with my mate. I won't let them fall if I don't succeed. I'm aware of more than you know. This will not be an end to any kind." She tells them even with a straight face. And her heart beats fast.

"Do not make the call to go forth of any kind without our words. Pick a line. Step out and it will end. All of it." Alpha Kieth warns us.

"Your death brought more from the dark side than you think miss Liv. You've gone so deep you may not know which way to get out." Elder Gio warns her. She holds her gasp.

"We don't care for anyone but our people. In your act only. You'll lose it all. He will live that agony." Warn Gio.

"We will strive and strive together. Coven, pack, alliances of all realms. We will." I stand tall and allow my finger tips to grace hers. I felt a small tremble at his tips.

"Yo've been told what do. Don't keep letting such foolishness go on. Part it now. Stay on the role of your Alpha duties. Because if we enforce them and you still don't compel. Black Harvest will." Alpha Kieth say with a look that makes me want to kill him now.

"We make it all count with the blood. We run on blood we have and make." I say.

"Just don't let that blood be the one you set on fire. Hybrid or wolf. Know whom place. Know your place." Alpha Kieth say before they all end the meeting with their final words.

The witches wanted a calm and peaceful home. But worry their people may come last in the time needed most. The wolves worry too much on some say will happen if we stay together. Both thinking we are a lie and are waiting to see us slip. Thinking she has some trick in her sleeve.

It takes a few moment after they leave for Elizabeth to break out some mind block she was in. She didn't show it at the time. But I felt her taking the warnings deep. It was a pull in my gut to hers.

"Don't let them get to your head. They don't know a damn thing. They're useless.."

"They're right." Her lips parted slowly.

"No." I shook my head.

"I have already fallen. There's been evil following me. There's only one way to protect you all. From my doing. I been knew this." Her eyes lock on mine and I see her claim.

"f**k them! And you for even thinking so." She scowl at my insult. "You can't forever be a people pleaser Elizabeth."

"I'm not pleasing anyone!" She shouted back.

"You can't tell me you think I will really obey by their rule on an affair just to keep this. You think I care one second of their laws. I've been breaking them for years. We all have. The laws are broken. They want control that's all. Don't let them control you That will be our fallen." I growl a little.

Her nose wrinkle up. "I'm not being controlled. I didn't want to be this kind of person. You knew from the beginning I didn't want to.." She pause for a second and step away.

I follow and pull her back. "Say it! Don't walk away. Just.."

"I am your fallen and everyone here. I was born to be the failure of myself and everyone I met and damn it I let it be you." Her body tighten up.

"Elizabeth?" I say in warning. I feel a pull from her. And I fear she will say the words.

"I can lose a lot people and I warn you on my feelings to not lose you. But rejection was so hard to accept then." She shook her head and held a tear. I cup her face and she close her eyes.

"We have no answers for the world we think we are in. We live a lie and I am corrupting you. My darkness is mine. And it will stay mine." She adds.

I held her tight as my chest cave in. "Baby please. Everything will be fine. I choose you. I walk with your mark. We are not going back."

"Maybe we should."

"Elizabeth no. There's no way other than death to take any of this back. You're ours until my dying breath Just.." I reach out to her.

She steps back. "I'll find a way if needed. Give us both something better. Give you two a better life. All of this is probably just a sign."

"A sign?! And who the f**k said it's without you. After everything we did to stay together! Baby there's no bad omen."

"It has all been displaced around for months now!" We both scoffed. Full disbelief in our eyes met.

"I will not lose you. Over anything or anyone." I say in gritted teeth.

She looks me in eyes. Leans in and kiss me. The taste of her tears hits my lips. We part and pull her in by her waist. Rubbing her hair down. I watch my finger twist in her hair.

"Forgive me one day when you're happy my Sweet Wolf." She whispers.

Before I can question her words. She chumps down on my neck. "f**k!" I groan in pain. She pushes me off her. She grabs my shoulders and pulls her knee into my balls. I fall to the ground. Cupping my ball.

"Goodbye boys." Elizabeth runs off. I call her in a hush voice.

The door shuts. And Malcom yells for me to stand up and catch her.

I see her in sight the moment I pull through the intensive pain. Seeing her running down the trail. She hurry's and jumps into a car to drive off.

"Elizabeth!" I shouted again and again. She ignores me and starts the car.

I catch up to her fast and tried to open the door. She doesn't flinch a look at me. I bang on the door with my arms. "Open the door! Opening the f*****g door Elizbaeth!"

She stomps on the gas and drives off. I step back to not lose my foot.

"Elizabeth!" Malcolm calls before shifting to chase her down.

We run and run until she takes that curve to disappear. Our paws stop knowing she'll be out of sight. My heart race in agony not knowing what just happen and why.

"She left."

"It's not a rejection."

"It damn seems like it!" I shouted back.

I felt a familiar hand grip my shoulder. Their voice echo in my ears. But the last thing I hear was her voice. The last connection I have of hers was her heart breaking. And mine will steady.

"Elizabeth."
