"We meet again Miss Sierra Delavine and I believe that you already know who I am." He added, daring her to say otherwise, daring her to deny his allegations.
Shit!
That was the only word her brain could come up with at that particular moment. That was the only word she could think of. She was standing in the middle of a room with a strange man surrounded by ten hefty men and that was the only word her brain kept on playing on repeat? Seriously? She was supposed to be screaming or trying to escape but she was fixated at that spot where she stood, unable to move an inch.
It was as if she was standing face to face with a masked grim reaper that had come to take her back to the underworld. How is he here? How did he find out where she lived? Or a more important question, what was he doing in her apartment this late in the night and on her couch?
She couldn't have blabbed about it while she was drunk with last night or did she? If that's the case then what else must she have told him that night?
Sierra blinked furiously as she tried to remember but her brain came back empty. She was a bit skeptical when she woke up to so many guards and yet none of them tried to stop her when she tried to run away. She must've thought that she was invincible but him being here was starting to tell her that she wasn't as slick as she had thought she was. It was supposed to be a mistake, an accident, a one night stand that both parties would forget so why was he here?
"Maybe if i pretend not to remember who he was then he would go away." She thought to herself. After all, she was drunk when they had s*x and most people usually forget their shenanigans the next day when they woke up. She would pretend to have temporary amnesia. Hopefully, he buys it and leaves her the f**k alone.
Diavolo stared at the woman in front of him with keen interest. His legs were crossed, one resting perfectly over the other as his eyes took in the state of her undress. He wasn't sure if she knew it yet but she was half naked. The only clothing that was draped on her body was nothing but a fleece night jacket. Just staring at her lustful flesh under that excuse of a dress had his c**k twitching voluntary in his pants. It was no longer a secret that every part of his body wanted this woman now, which is weird because he had only f****d her once.
She wasn't saying anything but he knew that she was fighting within herself because she had blurted out three words unconsciously without even realizing it but yet, he didn't say anything. He gave her enough time to battle with her demons. He was willing to wait, no matter how long this would take, even if it meant staying here all night.
Sierra snapped back to reality and fixated her gaze on the masked stranger. She swallowed hard and tried to compose herself before asking. "Um... I'm sorry but do i know you? Have me met before perhaps?"
Diavolo would've acted surprised if he was the one to show his emotions but he didn't. She was trying to avoid him by pretending not to know who he was? She must be thinking that he was a fool and that he would fall for a trick like that. If only she knew the full history of the man seated on her couch, she wouldn't have even tried to attempt such but he wasn't going to hold her to it. He came here to strike a bargain after all.
He looked away briefly. "I'm a little disappointed Piccola. How could you forget about me? I know for a fact that i had you hooked last night to the point of wanting more." He blurted out, not trying to mask or mince his words as he uttered them.
How could he say such things comfortably in the presence of all these people. She already developed second hand embarrassment on his behalf.
"I'm sorry but i don't think we've met. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got other things to do." She maintained. "So please, leave my house immediately."
Diavolo smiled to himself. She was fiesty, he'd give her that. No woman has ever spoken to him in that manner. They were always scared of him and would usually hide or tremble in fear when he was in the room. Most of them couldn't even hold a worded sentence with him and here with him was a little woman, breaking their record.
Sierra on the other hand tried to take advantage of the silence that had descended on them by hurriedly making an attempt to run into her bedroom but before she could achieve that feat, huge pair of muscled hands hindered at her attempt to close the door to her bedroom. It was one of his bodyguards. How are they so fast? s**t! It doesn't look like she'd be getting out of this one so easily as she had anticipated. Her breath hitched in fright when she realized that her attempt to escape and call for help had been futile.
Diavolo stepped fully into her bedroom and the guard closed the door shut behind him, leaving her trapped inside her small space with him.
"Who told you that you could barge into my room like this?" She asked. "Get out of my apartment now or I'm calling the cops!" She threatened reaching out for her phone but he snatched it away from her grasp as quickly as she had collected it.
"I'll keep this for you while we're talking." He dipped the phone into his pocket.
Sierra shivered in fright but she was struggling not to show it. "How did you find out where i live?"
"I thought you said that you didn't know who i was?" He countered. "You lied." He sounded usually calm and it baffled him. Maybe ot was because this woman intrigued him. Whichever the reason, it still felt uncanny.
"I still don't know you." She argued visibly. The veins on her forehead popping out to show her current emotion.
"You told me last night that you weren't drunk." He started. "I wanted to leave but you pleaded with me not to. You told me you wanted it and that you wanted to forget and now you're acting like you don't know me?"
"I don't know what you're talking about." She lied further. There's no way in hell that she'd admit to sleeping with this man. She doesn't even know who he was. Hell, he could be a serial killer, a rapist or even a murderer amongst other things.
"Are you saying that you don't remember anything of what we did last night?" He inquired, raising up his hands to brush the soft and lush side of her left cheek. Running his hands through her lips, she flinched and lost her footing as she collapsed on her bed.
He hovered over her tiny frame before she could even make an attempt to get up. "Since you don't remember anything from last night then how about i make you?" It wasn't a request, neither was it a question. It was a statement and that was the only warning she got before he trailed his hands up her thighs.
He balanced himself by placing one hand on his bed while the other hand worked its way up to the center of her womanhood and rested there. Sierra shivered slightly when his hands came in contact with the most intimate part of her body. He thrusted in a finger and she lets out a tiny gasp. Her body opening up to him voluntarily. She wasn't supposed to like it. She wasn't supposed to react this way but her body betrayed her in more ways than one when she felt her walls closing in on his fingers.
He pumped into her tight sheath slowly, skimming, giving her room to stop him or push him away but she didn't. Instead, she arched toward his seeking fingers, her wetness coating his fingers but just before she felt her senses leaving her, he pulled finger away and straightened himself to full height leaving her bare and utterly embarrassed as she scrambled to cover herself from his prying eyes.
"You seem to forget but your body certainly remembers who pleasured it all night long." He gave a snark comment and dipped his finger into her mouth to taste her on his tongue. The mere sight of watching him do so was highly erotic but she pretended to not be affected by it.
"I came here to talk and offer you a deal miss Delavine." He explained further. "And if i wanted to kill you, I'd have done it a long time ago so stop running away and listen to what i have to say." He ordered, his voice commanding.
She blinked viciously. "Who the f**k are you? How did you find out where i live and what do you want from me?" Her voice was a nervous mess but she still tried to face him head on.
"As for the first question. I'm Diavolo." He answered. "For the second question, it doesn't take much for someone like me to figure out where you live and as for the last question, i want you to move in with me."
