India “Who the hell turned on the lights?” My head feels like I have put it in a vise grip. I don’t remember how I got home, but I somehow made it. Good thing Erica called me a taxi. Or at least I think it was Erica who called me a taxi last night. I don’t want to peel my eyes open all the way yet, but the piercing light from the sun is a sign that it’s late morning. Hold on. I have blackout curtains. I always leave them closed. I roll over to reach for the remote to close the curtains because maybe I opened them last night before bed and just don’t remember. But when I roll to my left side, there’s a body in my bed. I’m scared to look. What if it’s just like the night Rudy and I drank at the bar and I went back to his place? s**t, did I do it again?
