15 Hae-in has a driver waiting for us when we exit the hotel. “Exactly where are we going that we can’t drive there?” I ask as I slide into the back seat of the SUV. “I don’t want to spend the time driving when I can spend it talking and looking at you.” “Are you trying to earn brownie points?” Hae-in scoots closer. “I get brownies with points? How does one do that exactly?” His eyes crinkle at the corners and it’s like he really expects me to fall for his charms. Or is he this charming all the time? “You expect me to believe you’ve never heard that saying before?” I ask, grinning. “Not in that way, no. We don’t earn points to eat brownies where I’m from.” I turn halfway in my seat so that I can look at Hae-in. He shifts farther until his hand tugs on the hem of my dress. “Right. W
