In front of her was a fox-looking creature with a unique body and colors. It sat in front of her and tilts its head on her cutely. It has pink fur with some streaks of white. It has purple eyes that’s looking at her with curiosity. But the most notable thing about this fox. Its tail is like just a flower growing out of its body. It’s a long stem with hanging bits of purple leaves and flowers. It was a magical sight for Abigail. She never seen more animals added in the game, particularly it’s just an RPG one, not an open-world sandbox game. Abigail has only seen ones that are related to the plot and mostly they are majestic and gigantic creatures. She had never seen this. “Hi!” She said in a high-pitched voice as she cautiously approached the small creature that presented itself in front of her. It stands and cautiously walks back as she goes nearer at it. “Don’t be afraid.” She crouches to lower her height to lessen the fear of the animal. She observes it for a while, the animal did it as well. It was a staring contest for them for a minute or so until Abigail spoke again. “I will not hurt you.” She starts to go near it again. It stayed still, it was the sign for Abigail to finally touch it and possibly pet it. She slowly extends her hand towards it, reaching for its fluffy head. It was startled by its approaching hand that it ran away from her. “Hey!” She called it as the fox went behind the tree. Abigail followed it and somehow she lost sight of it. She looks at the tree she last saw it. With a short inspection, there are no other things there than the flowers that are on the ground under it. She looks around in the surrounding. “Hey, little fella.” She said in a much loving voice. “Don’t be afraid of me. I won’t hurt you at all. I don’t have any intention to do so.” She cautiously looks around to find it among the trees and flowers around. “Don’t be afraid. In fact, I may be your creator for some reason or not at all. But, I don’t impose any danger to you, little one. I am just here to introduce you to myself.” Then, she suddenly heard something rattling behind her. As she turns, she saw the little fox rising from the ground with the flowers that she saw before shrinking and getting absorbed in its body. It was a beautiful and magical sight to see. The beautiful flowers before were the fox hiding from it. “That…” She cautiously approached it, “That was genius!” Abigail smiles widely as the fox tilts its head. It squeaks sometime later that made her squeal in happiness. “You are so adorable.” She crouches once more as she looks at it in the eyes, “Don’t be afraid of me, okay? I am a friendly person. And, not bragging about it, I created or summoned you in this place.” It was that the fox looks at her with a much calmer attitude. It decided to go closer at her, although, approaching very slowly and cautiously. Abigail lets it go up to her without her moving any parts of her body. As it goes closer, it started sniffing her, investigating her. She just smiled and lets it do whatever it’s doing right now. The fox looks up to her and squeaks. “Hi.” She said, assuming it greeted her. She slowly raises her hand that the fox looked at. “Can I?” Abigail slowly moved her hand towards its head, attempting to pet it. This time, the fox didn’t move or show any discomfort with the hand moving closer to it. Seconds later, Abigail can feel its soft fur on its head. There was a sudden release of dopamine in her mind as she felt the gentle fur on her hand. The fox lets her as she rubs its forehead gently. It squeaks happily as it lets her pet it more. She sits on a much more comfortable way to enjoy more of this adorable scene. “You are so adorable.” Abigail lets out a high-pitched squeal as she pets it more. The fox looks at her happily and goes closer at her. It sat on her lap and looks up at her. It squeaks happily as Abigail giggles. “We’re friends now?” She giggles as she kept petting it. As she rubs her palm on its fur, she looked at the open area that she was in before. It made her look at the fox curiously, “Did I summoned or did I created you?” The fox squeaks but she doesn’t know what it really meant. “I don’t speak fox language, so I am just going to assume I just summoned you.” She looks at the area once more, “I can’t create another life in this game. As someone who’s just a character here, I don’t have any grants that will make me have the ability to create small little creatures like you. Even if you already existed and there are some instances that I could create you, I refuse to admit that. That’s too much power in my hands.” The fox raises its paw and rubs it on her arms, possibly calming her down. Abigail smiles, “Thank you.” She carried it and puts it down on the ground as she stands. “I am sorry if I summoned you accidentally. I honestly have no idea nor any intention of summoning you. You could go now wherever you came from. I am going to further practice my magic and spells. Although, you can stay with me if you want.” She smiles as she went to the open area once more. She sat on the ground and looks at the book that she has. She felt a small weight pushed her arm. As she looks at it, it was the small fox once more. It followed her. “I guess you want to stay.” She smiles, “I could do magic on flowers and…” She looks at its tail, “You seem to have one in your tail.” The fox sits in front of her as the tail went closer to her, showing her the beautiful cluster of leaves and flowers on its end. “That’s cute. Don’t worry, I will not do anything to your tail.” She smiles as she ruffles its fur one last time and looks at the book once more. Abigail skimmed through the table of contents once more as her eyes saw something interesting. She flipped through the pages and ends up on one of the last pages of the book. She looks at it as everything that she needs to be answered right now was right on all of these pages. Everything means the fox beside her who’s looking at her rather curiously with the sudden reaction she has. “Florere Fox is a species of fox native in Wisteria Forests, the Hyacinth Wetlands, and anywhere flowers could freely grow. Most normal forests have these foxes, but with the few populations of clustered flowers, they are the rarest of them all. These foxes are rare but with the magic from someone who’s an expert of flowers, they could be created with this spell.”  She looks at the fox beside her. It was waiting for her and just sitting there. Abigail was right about what she’s thinking. “I… created you?” It squeaks cutely as it lays beside her, tucking itself. She was utterly and visibly shocked. “When did I have this ability? I literally just played with a lot of flowers and I created you?” Abigail deemed it unbelievable as she kept reading the text in her grimoire. “These foxes are born through flowers, any flower type, as long as 30 flowers are packed in a place. The pollens and some of their petals will merge into one adorable creature. Although, the flowers needed to be alive, not plucked. Domesticated versions of flowers will don’t have the ability to create one of these foxes in this way. Since these ones don’t hold the blessing of life by the forest. But, with the use of this spell, someone that holds the will of the flowers could summon one in existence. With the blessing of life from a certain mage, one of these types could be summoned and created by specific species of flower and general types.” She looked at the sketched picture on the next page, with one of them resembling the fox she’s with right now. “Wisteria Specific Fox is a type of Florere Fox that can be found in Wisteria Forests. Aside from being in that specific environment, these foxes have a tail that looks like the leaves of Wisteria. With great climbing skills and fast reflexes, these foxes could be easily mistaken as a part of a tree. Further magical ones would have more abilities than the common Wisterian Foxes.” She looks at the fox beside her, “Huh. So, you’re my pet now, I guess.” The foxes leap on her as Abigail giggles. She embraces the little critter and it tucked itself on her. “Since you are a Wisteria Specific Fox, maybe I will call you Teria. Creative name, I know. But, it’s unique nonetheless, like you.” She pets the little creature as it makes happy squeaky noises. “You like that?” It makes more squeaky noises as she giggles, “I guess you liked that.” A sudden swish sound was heard behind her. Abigail looks behind her as she saw the familiar figure that she didn’t expect to be out here in the light. Teria saw him as she suddenly leaps out of her grasp and started charging at Laurence. He extends his hands, pointing its palm on them. He stops it from moving as it makes hissing sounds. “Calm your new pet down, Abigail. I don’t want to get rabies in a game. Double trauma doesn’t sound so good for me.” She immediately went and grabbed Teria up and carries her in her arms. “Calm down, he’s good.” Minutes later, the fox calmed itself that prompts Abigail to let it on the ground. Laurence summoned a black fog just around him, “I am going to protect my beloved digital body in a rabid digital wild animal.” “Stop calling Teria like that!” Laurence lowers down his hood, “Teria? Nice and creative name.” Abigail rolls her eyes, “What do you want?” He laughs, “I am starting to sound like a tutorial man to you, but I need to inform you more about these foxes and things. Because…” He snaps his finger as a black creature appeared beside him, “I have those things as well. The Gemini decided to, ‘Hey, we aren’t that bad, so we will add animals in this game.’” “So, it has an animal soul or something, whatever they got us into?” He shrugs, “I hope not, doing this to humans is enough. Adding more to their unethical doings is not a good place to be. But, I think the AI that they built because of our mashed knowledge helped the development of this. I knew that this going to happen after I peaked in that AI software that they made to get all of these graphics.” Abigail looks at him, “They don’t make them?” He laughs, “Why would they if they have the soul of an artist trapped here with us?” She looks at him, rather shocked. “Souls? What do you mean?” He sighs, “That’s why I am here urgently and also to see your adorable companion. I already know what they are doing to get us here in a game. I have managed to catch them with their own words. And it seems, there’s more to it than we already think.” “What is it.” Laurence looks at her, “They’re not alone, Abigail. I have heard and recognize another voice when I managed to infiltrate one of their voice-activated AI assistants. They call him Cleave or something like that.”
