Jasper had spent the last week reassuring me that there would be at least a few Omegas who wanted to join our new pack. I never really believed him. I thought all of the Omegas in our pack would be too afraid of getting caught to take a chance on us, but as it turns out he was right.
There were hundreds of them crammed into the small clearing we were using as a meeting place. Many of them were people who our pack had classified as Omegas just because one of their family members was an Omega. In most other packs they would have remained unranked and not had to endure the treatment that packs like ours forced Omegas to endure.
