Blurb

On the day of my sister's grand wedding, an Omega collapsed onto the red carpet, screaming and sobbing that she'd been abused.

Everyone immediately took the fragile Omega's side. Without a shred of proof, they threw my sister into the pack's coldest dungeon.

When I finally saw her again, there was nothing left but a broken, unrecognizable corpse.

Her face had been destroyed. Every rib had been shattered. Every fingernail had been torn away. Her entire body had been drenched in blood.

I was the strongest Beta in the BloodShadow Pack, her twin, her reflection, and the one who should have protected her.

But while my sister suffered, I was locked away in a psychiatric ward, branded as a dangerous mad wolf.

The moment I learned the truth, I ripped through the iron bars with my bare hands.

The beast inside me finally awakened.

Those bastards who had caused my sister's death must pay—I was coming for all of them!

Chapter 1
My name was Lucia, and I was the strongest Beta in the BloodShadow Pack. Six months earlier, on the night of the full moon, I had lost control during my shift and severely injured the Pack's Alpha. After that, they locked me away in a psychiatric ward. The Elders claimed my bloodline was reverting to its primal nature, and that I couldn't withstand any major shock. So, I played along with their treatment. Recently, my mood had been better than ever because my beloved younger sister, Winona, was about to marry. Even inside the psychiatric ward, everyone treated me kindly. I could even hold my iPad and watch my sister's wedding livestream. Thank you, Moon Goddess. May all your blessings fall upon my dear Winona. The wedding livestream began. I had just seen Winona and her husband, Alpha Cassius of the SilverFrost Pack, walking down the aisle together when— A woman suddenly burst into the ceremony. Her face was covered in blood. She was completely naked, and she threw herself at Winona's feet, repeatedly bowing her head to the ground. "Winona, please! You already ruined my face and stripped me naked. I have nothing left. I'm begging you, don't kill me! I swear I'll stay far away from Cassius forever..." The moment Cassius heard those words, his expression darkened. He rushed forward and slapped Winona again and again in front of everyone. "Mina is nothing but the weakest Omega in the Pack. She's a kindhearted orphan, innocent and helpless. How dare you do this to her! I've been too merciful toward you. The wolves of the BloodShadow Pack have no discipline at all. The SilverFrost Pack will never accept a cruel and vicious woman like you!" The wedding was halted immediately. Winona was dragged away and thrown into a car before being taken to the Moon Shrine's dungeon to repent for her so-called crimes. ***** Three days later, I saw her inside the Moon Shrine. Her face was covered in deep, overlapping wounds. Her chest had collapsed from shattered ribs. Every single fingernail had been ripped away. Her clothes were torn and disheveled, and the lower half of her body was stained with horrifying traces of blood. She had suffered a death so cruel and tragic that it tore my heart apart. My precious baby sister, the one person who had always been my perfect reflection. She was gone. A faint smile touched my lips as I gently caressed her cold cheeks. My fingers brushed over her eyelids, trying to close them. But she refused. She wouldn't close her eyes. Bloody tears had left crimson trails down her face, as if silently accusing every person who had wronged her. I understood. "All of them will join you soon," I whispered, still smiling softly. "First, Mina." One of her eyes finally closed. "Then Cassius." The other eye slowly shut, sealing my vow. I turned toward the Alpha and the Elders, and bowed respectfully. "Good day, gentlemen." The Alpha's jaw tightened, but the sharp pain in his still-healing ribs, a reminder of our last fight, silenced whatever protest he wanted to make. "Be careful out there in the SilverFreost Pack." I nodded. Then, I raised my eyes toward the statue of the Moon Goddess on the pedestal. Maybe it was only an illusion caused by the flickering flames, but I could have sworn her eyes had turned blood-red. Every drop of blood in my veins screamed one thing. Kill them! Kill them all! I would destroy everyone who had a hand in my sister's death. Every last one of them must pay—with blood. No one would be spared.
