The sight of everyone watching me brought me right back to my senses kicking all the little giddy feelings out of my head. I stood there awkwardly looking at everyone

“Good evening Malaika” they all said some warmly bowing their heads to me

Greta and the triplets were all there, then next to them was I assume a couple as they were lovingly holding hands sitting right next to each other on the couch, the woman was a beautiful slim woman with silk black hair which was in a tight ponytail, the man next to her had platinum blonde hair with deep olive green eyes and next to them was a man in maybe his forties though he looked like he’d aged with stress, he had big round glasses over his blue eyes and he was standing next to another man who had a look I couldn’t quite decipher. He was smiling but It didn’t seem genuine like everyone else’s his gaze gave me goosebumps and not the good kind.

“It’s good to finally have you Luna Malaika” he said walking towards me.

His walk seemed menacing but I wasn’t afraid in the slightest I stood where I was smiling back at him and everyone else;

“Uh hello” I simply said

“I’m Klaus, a member of this great counsel it’s a pleasure” he said taking my hand in his and kissed the back of my palm

His lips on my skin made it crawl for some reason, I was about to pull it back when a loud growl came from behind me.

“Uh, Alpha I was just getting acquainted with our new Luna here” klaus said with a hint of taunt “she’s quite a beauty I must add, the goddess was really kind to you Alpha” he said smiling weirdly at me

At this point Kaden had moved close to me wrapping his hands protectively around my waist and was glaring daggers at Klaus

He blatantly ignored Klaus and looked to his parent and the rest of the council members

“I’ll have to take Malaika back to her house, her parents must be worried she hasn’t been home the whole day, any discussions that need to be done can be done tomorrow” he said

“Yes Alpha” they all said bowing,

He then began walking to the stairs pulling me with him to his room and shutting the door rather harshly, why was he upset?

When we got to the room he opened a door which turned out to be a walk in closet and disappeared in there while I just stood next to his king sized bed waiting awkwardly

He came out wearing a black t-shirt that hugged his muscles perfectly and a pair of grey sweat pants that had my eyes traveling shamelessly to his crotch area I bit down my bottom lip at the sight of his print that was just there for me to see

He seemed to have realized me gawking at him and a smirk appeared on his face

He slowly walked to me till he was just a few inches from me and and said

“You like what you see? Don’t stop at my expense I love to watch you watch me” He said his eyes twinkling with mischief

“I wasn’t looking at you” I denied

“Uh huh, if you say so”

“Let’s take you home before your parents end up calling the police shall we? The people I had guarding your house say your father has been looking for you”

“Oh s**t! I haven’t talked to him since yesterday and I forgot to take my phone this morning, come to think of it I haven’t seen it at all since last night”

“I put it in your bag when I took you home so it’s definitely there”

“Thank you so much for everything, I really don’t know what would have happened if you hadn’t come when you did last night, I owe you my life. Even if it’s as a vampire now I really don’t know what would have happened to my father and brother if anything happened to me” I said sincerely smiling.

“Don’t thank me baby, I live for you now and I will never let anything happen to you again. We should go now but I have to warn you to not say anything to your family for now just until everything is figured out” he said caressing my cheek

“Of course, I understand. Plus I don’t want to give my dad a heart attack by telling him I’m now a blood sucking vampire and a queen, I mean ‘Luna’ of werewolves”

“Hahaha yeah, well shall we My Luna?” He asked curtsying

Causing me to chuckle at his childish antics

“Of course my Alpha mate” I said which for some reason made his eyes flash orange for a second

He gave me one of those beautiful smiles again making heat rise to my cheeks for what seemed like the hundredth time today

“Let’s go then”

I didn’t start walking instead I looked at him as he walked opening the door for us to leave. He paused turning to look at me

“Are you leaving wearing that?” The words escaping my mouth on their own accord. s**t!

The sides of his mouth tilted upwards and he slowly walked back to where I was standing

“Yes why?” He said with his amused smile still very evident

“Because your junk is just right there, sticking out of those pants, like that is indecent exposure you know. I don’t want anyone looking at you. You’re mine” I said the last part in almost a growl surprising myself

I don’t know where all this was coming from, what was I even saying. I was so embarrassed for myself right after the words left my mouth

I wanted for the ground to just open up and swallow me whole. I placed my hands on my face like that would hide me

I felt his hands in my hands slowly pealing them of my face

He was smiling like a kid

“I love that you’re possessive of me Baby, I promise to only wear these for you from now on Okay? I can change out of these if you want” he said smirking

“No it’s fine, let’s just go” I said going past him he was immediately behind me and we left his house heading for mine.

It was at about 9pm When we got to my house, I slowly got out of the car after he’d opened my door and headed for my front door after a bit of hesitation with Kaden right by my side

I knocked on the door swallowing a lump in my throat when my dad opened the door. He was pissed.
