*Sam* A barrage of cannon fire greets me when I awaken, startling me into action. I’m lying on the ground, and I try to move, but the pain in my leg overwhelms me. I call out in agony. “Shh. You need to be quiet.” A calm, melodic voice brings me to the present. I look up to see that strange woman again, her brightly colored gown a stark contrast against the sandy brown cave wall.
