*Will* It’s difficult to find the right words for a moment as I take in Millie’s beauty. She looks stunning in the green evening gown my sister has given her to wear. Though it certainly hasn’t escaped me that she’s quite lovely, I wasn’t prepared for this. “Will, you look very nice,” she says. I realize now that too much awkward silence has passed when I should have been complimenting her, yet I don’t want to truly speak my mind. “Your hair goes with the dress.” Certainly not what I intended to say. “You look lovely, Millie.” She chuckles a bit and flashes a smile as a hint of blush tinges her cheeks, which surprisingly gives me a light flutter in my heart. “Thanks.” Edward’s voice rings out behind me. “Mm, shall we get to dinner, then?” Grateful for the opportunity to leave the
