*Lila* We tie our horses to low branches and edge along the ridge, the forest masking our presence, until we find a spot where we can witness the brutality without being seen. The sight makes me want to vomit. Five women stand on the gallows, the ropes around their necks swinging lightly in the breeze. One is my sweet Rebecca Nurse.
