Ezekiel's pov, I had just arrived earlier than expected. The silence greeted me first, no footsteps, no soft music drifting from the living room and no Lauren, not even my brother. The maids were around by the way and I acknowledged them with a nod before heading upstairs with my heavy mind. I finally settled in my room, loosened my cufflinks, before sitting at the edge of the bed. The trip had drained me more than I had anticipated.
