Brenda's POV:
I ran into Pierre on my way downstairs. He was bent over the vomit, staring at it with an unreadable expression.
"Pierre?"
He straightened and looked at me, tucking his gloves under his arm to sign at me. "It's wolfsbane. Did they poison the girl?"
"Which girl?" I asked, coming closer.
He smirked and arched his brows. "You know the girl. Her name is Aryanna. She was poisoned with wolfsbane or whatever it was had wolfsbane in it too."
My heart dropped and I felt my belly twist. I had seen Shelby leave earlier, and it was what prompted me to enter the house. Pierre had kept me company, but I didn’t understand how he could know this.
"How did you know that?" I asked, staring at the puddle. It looked normal to me, and the only thing off about it was its colour.
He shrugg
