Ethan's POV:
I left Zayn behind, and I found Ian in his garden. His head in his hands. I knew he was aware of my presence because when I stood in front of him, he mumbled my name without looking up.
"Hey, are you okay?" Seeing them bicker like they were kids had pissed me off, but now that the anger was gone from my eyes, I could really feel the remorse and concern trickling in.
I felt my heart twist inside my chest when Ian looked up at me and he laughed, running a hand through his hair.
"I don't know. I know I shouldn't be angry, but I just can't help myself."
I sighed and slipped my hands into my pockets. I was filled with an urge to touch him, but I got a sense that he didn't want to be touched at all.
"And what do you want to do now?" I said, leaning against a tree. Ian scoffed
