Chapter- 65 " Wish you never loved me "

The people in Al's house went to their own work aa usual with Sira and the housekeeper looking after the house.

In the evening when Iri was alone with Jace in the living room she asked him, " Is Ella really away for work? "

Jace didn't look at her but just said, " Ummn. "

Jace sighed, he didn't tell her because he didn't want her to be worried, but seeing that not knowing was making her worry more he told her everything that happened a few nights back.

After hearing the voice and seeing the person clearer after she walked towards him, out of the shadows and beneath the moonlight. She was wearing a thin dress in that cold weather with her hair down, it was wet as she mostly just got out of the bath.

Al took a breath and said, " Ella. "

She suddenly surge out a fire on her hands and threw it towards him. Quickly then, someone who was hiding on the shadows burned up and died howling out.

" What business do you have here? I can't be surprise anymore now even if you know at what time iam sleeping and eating in. " She stared right at him.

Al didn't back away, he looked at her ever so lovingly even though he was saddened that she was looking at him with those stern sharp eyes, with no ounce of love in them, " I wanted to make sure the area was safe. "

Ella sighed and brushed her hair down in defeat, she didn't want to argue with him so she just stood there looking away from him, " Go back if you're done. "

Al frowed as the last thing he wanted was for her to hate him, " Ella? Do... Can we talk inside the house for s bit? " He wanted to say something but was afraid that someone might be listening in.

She wanted to refuse but seeing that he was desperate she agreed.

They went inside the house and looking around Al asked, " Is Old Li not here? "

Ella went to sit at the arms of the sofa lying out a chair for Al and said, " No, he's out of town, now say what you wanna. "

Al didn't know how to start with it and Ella just sat there waiting for him, " If you just came to check the house than leave. "

" Do you really think that me taking back my power will solve everything and make everything better? " Al asked her.

She clenched her lips together in frustration and asked him back as an answer, " Well? Will it not? "

He spoke in a desperate way for her to understand, " Even if I have full complete power, even if I can take down the whole wide world, if it means that you will be in danger than I don't want to do it. "

Al made sure she had rest herself in the couch and went out. He didn't go back but walked some distance where she can't sense him and looked over the house for the whole night.

Ella after sobering up and clearing her thoughts she sat up on the couch leaned her face on her palm and took a deep breath.

Like how Al was able to sense her through his powers she could more or less feel him too and at that moment she felt him still near him and smiled hopelessly.

When morning came both of them find themselves in their own bed without getting any rest for the night.
