Chapter- 45 Date

Early morning the next day, they were all having breakfast at the table and Al said, " Ella and I are going out for the day, you guys can have the house for yourselves. "

Iri absentmindedly and curiously asked, " Where? " But she quickly understood that it was a private date and before Al could reply she said, " No, it's okay, I don't need to know hehe. You guys have fun. "

They enjoyed their breakfast and went back to do their own work, Al and Ella had decided to go out at noon so she went to get ready.

While she was cleaning herself up Iri knocked at her door and came in, she was holding a bag with her, " I know you don't have these magical babies so I'll help you with it. "

Ella looked at her and asked, " What is that? "

Iri gave her a hopeless look and said, " It's a make up box and don't worry, I won't put up that much, I know you don't like it. But a woman needs a light touch of magic for a magical date. " She said seeing that Ella was trying to refuse.

Ella laughed and said, " What are you, my fairy godmother? " She knew there was no stopping her anymore at this rate.

Iri also laughed and played along with her story, " Well maybe Iam, you never know. " They both laughed and Ella gladly let Iri help her.

Iri who was an expert in this type of field knew exactly what would look good in Ella so she work her magic on her.

After the make up was done they picked up a dress to wear, Ella's closet was filled with similar design knee long dark colour dresses which she usually used to wear.

Ella looked at Iri who looked back at her with a face that say's, ' really? That's all you got ? '

She turn towards the other closest which she usually never open and which she got as gifts, and said to Iri, " You are the fairy godmother you choose. "

Iri stood up and skimped through the dresses she stopped her hands on one particular dress which had a seperate shirt and skirt and pulled it out.

It was a white collar shirt with the sleeve reaching down to the elbows making a waterfall flow paired with a sky blue flowy skirt just up her knees, overcast by a white net floral design reaching down just below her knees.

Iri took it out and said, " Well, let's make you a simple modern girl for today. "

Ella looked at it and commented, " Isn't that a little too childish? " She stepped back a little.

Iri shove the dress to her chest and said, " No it's not and no matter what you think people saw you as a normal youth, you even look younger than me so girl up and wear it. "

Ella reluctantly put in on and showed it to Iri, who looked at her and smiled happily squealing, " See? I told you you'll look good it in, you look beautiful. "

Ella looked at herself in the full mirror thinking that maybe it really is not that bad, she said, " Well I guess this will do. "

Iri let her sit down at the table and tied her hair up in high bun letting loose some hair on the sides. She also took out a small silver colour side bag reaching her hips to pair with the dress and hand it to her.

After everything was done Iri said, " And for the final touch to complete you look, wear this black heels. "

Iri put on the comfortable heels that were just right in height and looked at her complete self in the mirror and said, " Well I guess that turned out better than I thought of. "

Iri laughed and said, " Of course you have me. " And she made a proud self.

Ella smiled and thanked her, " Thank you Iri. " This past months it felt like their relationship has also gotten closer, both of them became more open to each other and got to know more of the other's personalities which they never noticed.

Iri turned her around from her and said, " Now go meet your prince charming. "

They got out of her room and Ella said, " I'm going then. " And Iri looked at her and said, " Enjoy your day Ella. " She had never seen her that happy and she knew that all her happiness lies in the hands of a single man. Iri could give anything to make her real fairy godmother enjoy her own fairytale.

Ella got out of the house and Al was waiting for her wearing a middle sleeve black shirt with gray patterns, black pants and black sneakers with a white bottom.

He noticed her as soon as she came out and stated at her starstruck, When she approached him he smiled and said, " You look lovely. " He pinched her cheeks adorably.

She looked at him grumpily and said, " Stop that, I'm not a child, I'm older that you. "

He chuckled in response, " Ow, sorry I forgot because you looked so soo lovely. "

She acted mad and said, " Are we going? "

He laughed and opens the car's door for her, " Of course my lady, thank you for giving me the honour. " He slightly bowed teasingly and she acting smugly entered the car.

It was a 1 and half an hour drive and Ella asked him where they were going but he said, " It's a surprise. " So she just waited for it patiently.

When they reached the place, they got out of the car and she saw that it was a big forest covered in maple trees, the yellow, orange and reddish leaves had started withering and made a carpet on the floor but the trees had not lost a single charm.

There were other people there as well but not much, enough for them to enjoy their privacy.

Ella was charmed by the place, she smiled and told Al, " It's so beautiful. "

Al told her, " Really, I'm glad, I was nervous the whole way thinking you would have been bored of seeing many places like this. "

Ella chuckled a bit looking at the big boss acting timidly, " In all my life I never took the chance to stop and admire a place and it's beauty and most of all I was always by my self so it never occured to me to enjoy a scenery as I had no one to share it with. I'm glad you invited me. "

Al grinned feeling happy and said, " Well, the pleasure is all mine but wait a little, the surprise is still waiting. "

Ella looked up at him, " Oh? Is that so? "

Al proudly replied, " Yep, I'm more confident with that one although I don't know how you'll feel. "

She gave him a hand like a princess to a knight and said, " Well shall we find out then? "

He took the hand like a true knight and said, " We shall. "

Iri had her arms around his and they walked some distance down the road, it was a curvy road filled with only the Maple trees and leaves. Every time they stepped on the leaves it made a chrispy sound.

There was a restraunt in the middle of it, so they had their lunch and enjoyed all afternoon.

They enjoyed a short walk after lunch and after some distance he stooped, " Ahem, well after this turn you'll see the surprise I was telling you about. I have also asked them not to let anyone pass this for today. I hope it makes you happy. "

She smiled and said, " Of course I'll be if it's something you prepared for me. "

It was getting a little dark but perfect for a walk.

Al took a deep breath and they took a turn, Ella walked down the straight path after the turn. From far she saw a big tree in the middle of an open ground and as she got nearer she sped up her steps and when she was at a clear view distance she stopped and walked slowly towards it.

It was a big willow tree with the branches streched out widely and vertically but not much tall and without much leaves. There were ribbons and lanterns hung on its branches making the tree look serene.

Ella didn't say a word, she just walked towards the tree placing her hands on its trunk and looked back at Al with teary eyes and a small smile.

All was following her from the back the whole time and saw her movements. He knew she was getting emotional as it was awfully similar to the place where they had their last talk in their past life before the tragedy happened.

It was the tree in front of which Ella had confessed her feelings for the last time to Al for her to give up. The place where she recited for him her last poem containing her feelings.

He asked her, " Do you like it? "

She stopped her tears and sobs and said, " I never knew this place existed, never knew I'll get to see a memory of the past again. "

Al got close to her and hugged her, " This was a place where I couldn't get hold of you in the last life, a place where I decided to selfishly let go of your hand making me regret all my life for that one single decision. So in this life I want to properly get hold of you here and be with you all my life, never letting go of your hand. Can you please grant me my wish Ella? "

Ella grabbed the waist of his shirt, gripping it tightly, slowing down her beating heart and looked up at him with tears of joy in her eyes, " Then this kind fairy shall gladly grant your wish. "
