Concealed Love

Chapter-12 Let him go and you can have it.

       The pain she felt in her arms was caused by the candy she had given to Al on his car before, it contained a spell which could alert Ella whenever Al was in danger, she will also feel the pain he did in the same place whenever he got hurt.

       But there was one thing Ella couldn't understand ' why now? 'if they wanted to get to him there were many other chance but why now?. But the feeling of whether it might be a bait or any other thing didn't matter as long as Al may have got hurt, she would be there.

         A few moments back after Ella left, Al finished greeting his guest wand was also trying to get back, but the moment he stepped foot on the Hall he was shot on the arm, the others in the Hall panicked and ran away but Al couldn't, the guards came to safe him but were knocked out by the demons who were disguised as waiters, when everyone left the doors were shut and a guy appeared in front of Al, and he was held down by two other people. When he tried to fight back he was hit on the head and his mind become fuzzy.

          When Ella reached the place she just left, there were many reporters and police outside the Hall. The police who were unknown of the threat inside could take immediate action as the safety of the person inside was also threatened.

           Ella went to the back and entered through the garden, she was trying to go in secretly so that the others won't find out but before she entered Iri saw her and called her out. Ella stopped on her track and turned to Iri who was in Jace's embrace.

     When the incident happened they were still in the back obtaining the items they had bought.

       They approached her and Iri asked her  " are you going in there? Do you have to? You'll be hurt again. " in a worried and panicked voice.

       Ella was worried to see Iri still there on the scene but she knew they wouldn't do anything to her so she tried to calm her down saying " I have to, he's in there besides you know they can't hurt me".

       This time Jace asked " What is going on, why will you go in there by yourself? "

       Ella looked at him and said " I know the people who are trying to harm Al, Iam gonna try to settle them down. Can you please protect Iri for me, I have to go."

       Seeing that she was determined about it Jace replied with a small smile " Leave her to me".

       Irene was still worried but she knew she couldn't stop her so she agreed saying "be safe".

        Ella gave her thanks and immediately got into the Hall through a window and before she could look around she was greeted " Hello princesses, you finally made it ".

       She traced the source of voice and surely it was him, the Mask man with several other demons, two of them were holding down Al whose arms was covered in blood and his forehead was also bleeding.

       He was being made to kneel down, seeing Ella he panicked and shout in worry with as much voice as he could make " Why are you here, get out of here. "

      Ella with the same expression along with anger looked to the Mask man saying " Iam the one you guys want, let him go".

      Al said in a confused voice " Do you know them? ".

      Here the mask man laughed and said " Aww, now princesses that's not so nice of you not to tell him about us"

       "Shut ur crap, why are you doing this, don't you dogs hate humans eyes, what do you want? " Ella scowled than looked at Al and said "I'm sorry, I'll get you out"

       With a slow and calm tone the Mask man continued " How mean of you, we just decided that it's time to show ourselves you know, isn't it the same for you princess?. The time has come right?now we don't have to hide anymore the long awaited time has come, we were still nice enough to not to kill anyone , well it doesn't matter what I do to them now, at the end of this the victor will stand and the one who lose will perish. "

        Ella feeling impatient spat back " Just get to the point, why are you doing this".

         The Man chuckled " Our princess really is fierce. Alright fine, we want the sword, give it to me and I'll let him go"

         Ella with the same attitude said " What sword are you talking about".

          "That won't do princess, you think I don't know? I'm talking about the devine sword which is in your hands."

       Ella panicked and asked " How do you know about it? ".

       " Haha, oh dear you really think we're fools don't we, so will you give it? ".The Mask man was calm the whole time not showing even a hint of impatience

     " Fine, just don't touch him" Ella twist the ring on her hand and the ring with a fiery glow turned into a staff, it was her usual staff which was of violet color and the handle with the shape of a crescent moon and a dark blue thin cylindrical gem in the middle.

         " Let him go and you can have it". Ella put out her hand and the others were saying 'what's to oppose the unfair trade but the Mask man stopped them.

         " Sure, if you don't comply I still have many other ways to take it" He gestured the two holding down Al to let him go.

         They dragged Al, who was nearly loosing consciousness due to blood loss towards Ella " Now give me the sword princess" Asked the man and Ella threw it directly towards him.

         The moment he caught it the power of the sword clash with his own, making him throw it away. He fall onto one of his knees and blood started dripping from his chin beneath the mask.

        Ella caught the sword which was thrown towards her and smirked. The other demons attacked her but it was not difficult to fend them of as the most powerful of them was kneeling down hurt and immobile.

       The Mask man who was still in a kneeling position lose his temper for the first time that night and raised his voice in a threatening tone but still managed to keep himself from shouting said " Mind telling me what you did princess? "

        Ella with a smirk said " It was not me, I just gave you the sword you asked for but seems like it hates you".

         " Nonsense, if you can weild it than so can I, it's owner no longer has the power to hold it so it shouldn't reject others". He desperately tried to get the answer out of Ella.

          But Ella didn't answer and she couldn't, it was a mystery even to her as to why she was able to hold a sword made solely for Al's use. But she still said with an indifferent attitude " Maybe it don't like bad guys" and she send a powerful s***h towards him.

            Due to his injury he was not able to fully avoide it and the force made him stammer backwards, nearly making his mask fall off. He got hold of it and ordered the others, "fall back, we'll go back for today. "

          Ella couldn't chase after them as Al was lying nearly unconscious. She called an ambulance and by supporting Al to stand up, they walk out towards the garden to avoid the people outside and let Jace and his friends help them get out of the backyard.

          By the time the ambulance arrived, Al had already fainted. He was taken to the hospital and was put into the emergency room.

         Al's parents arrived right after and asked them what had happened. Jonathan who was acquaint with them tried to sound them out and carefully explains what had happened " When Aldrich was on his was to go out he was suddenly attacked and we still don't know who they are, he was shot on the arm and the doctors said he'll be fine, that the wound is not that severe. It seems he fainted due to blood loss".

        It was only known to Jace and Iri that Ella had went in there but they kept silent saying among themselves " Let Ella tell them herself when she can" And didn't mention any of it to the others.

        Ella was grateful to them and was relieved to hear that Al was safe but seeing his mother weeping his father's arms, she felt guilt rising in her stomach and turned her face away from them.

       After some time the doctor's came to them and said that " the patient's wound on his arm has been stitched up and no permanent injuries that will effect his daily life will be there except some scar of the injury. As for the wound on his forehead, there is not much external injuries buy well run a further scan on his internal injury. Anyway you don't have to worry much, with the sate he is in there won't be any serious problem ".

         They were all relieved and thanked the doctor, then asked whether they can meet Al and the nurse told them that " The patient has not woken up yet but you can see him after we moved him to his room. "

          He was than moved to a VIP room and his stay was to be kept a complete secret from the reporters.

          His parents along with Jonathan went in to check him out but Iri and Jace stood at the door and decided that it will be better if they come back later. Iri turned to talk to Ella but she was no longer there.
