Chapter- 13 For someone noble

       Ella wanted to stay by his side but he had nothing to answer them if they asked about the incident, moreover she felt miserable not knowing what to say to Al when he woke up and question her. She stood still for some time twisting the ring on her finger which had already turned from the sword. She thought of sorting out her mind first before she decided what to do and left.

She went back home and when she reached the gate, she found that it was already opened and the moment she stepped into the room it was in a mess. There were clear signs of people breaking in and looking at the scattered things they must have been searching for something, the windows we're broken clearly in attempt to alert Ella and distract her from their scheme. 

She didn't really care about it now that everything was over for the time being and walk through the mess slouching down upon the couch with wrinkled brows, closed her eyes and gave out a big sigh. She remembered that Iri hasn't returned and searched for her phone to tell her not to but her phone was left on Al's car.

She went to check the telephone and luckily it was not broken so she dialled Iri's phone number. Iri picked it up right away and asked her what happened, she clearly sound worried. 

Ella explained the situation of their home and also make it sound less severe and stated the main reason for calling " So, it probably would be better if you don't return for today ".

Iri disagreed " No, how can I leave you alone and besides that is also my home, I'm coming back. "

Ella knew that she won't agree easily so she added " It's fine, it's not that bad, you can come check out tomorrow and I also wanna have some time alone to clear my mind so can you please help me"

As Ella hoped Iri gave in and said " Okay fine, I'll stay in a hotel for today. Please take care of yourself ".

Ella made a grateful 'ummn' and said " Take care dear" And hung up.

To be honest she really wanted to have some alone time. 'What should I say to Al, should I tell him everything, I am sure it would sound ridiculous for him who has no memories but than after what had happened, any halfhearted explanation won't do. ' she was thinking of all these and also thought that maybe it was for the best to tell him, that way she can protect him more openly but he might not be able to keep up with the pressure.

She couldn't sleep and before she know it, the sun had already risen. She got up from the couch and went to take a shower, change into some more comfortable clothes and throw herself on the messy bed, the basement below had a different alarm to notify her when someone barged in but it didn't went off so she was not worried about it.

While lying down in the bed she remembered the past days and scolded herself in her mind. Getting to know Al again and him showing her smiles and kindness made her forget the painful memories and the troubles that her actions were gonna bring. She was so happy being with Al and his slight touches made her feel giddy and 'send tingles down her spine' but that has to end. After now she decided to go back to her old self and stop indulging herself with Al when it's not necessary.

Before she could fall asleep she heard the sound of Iri calling her and she woke up again. She went out to find Iri panicking and Iri ran to her checking out her whole body see whether she was hurt or not and asking if she was okay despite knowing Ella's body conditions and gave a sigh of relief. But her relief was only for a breath before she turned to look at the situation of the room again.

She roared at Ella in worry " Why about this is ' not that bad' and how can you sleep here in this situation ". Ella told herself in the mind ' Well I didn't exactly sleep' but decided to keep it to herself to avoid further scolding from Iri. 

Iri was angry, worried and horrified by the situation and even said " If I get my hands on them, I'll kill them" Earning a giggle from Ella.

Ella tried to soothe Iri " Let it be, it has already happened and it's partly my fault for having loose security. "

Iri still stressed said " How is them breaking in your fault " After what happened yesterday and from the earlier accidents even Iri had a rough idea of who broke into their house.

Ella tried to calm her down and said " Okay okay, but since it has happened anyway let's renovate it, I was thinking of doing it anytime soon anyway ".

" Fine but where do you want to stay for the mean time being? " Iri said in a calmer voice.

" We can just stay at some hotel for now, which one did you stay at last night? ". Ella asked.

Iri turned her head slightly away and gave an awkward 'ha ha.. '. Ella looked at her suspiciously squinting her eyes asking " What? ".

Iri " Well I didn't exactly went to a hotel last night, I was invited to a friend's house hehehe~ ".

" A friend? Who.... Wait.... Jace? You went with him didn't you ". Ella asked a bit amused lifting up her hand and resting her chin on her fingers and the other round her waist.

" Weellll... When you called we were together, and he suggested going to his house cause it was safer and I also thought that it would be better, besides it was only one night" Iri tried to defend herself, not able to look at Ella and kept fiddling her fingers.

" Hohooo... Reallyyyy... So tell me are you guys dating? Everytime I saw you outside you guys are always together,i should have noticed before" Ella teased not willing to let her go.

" No, we're just friends" Iri grumbled and pouted.

Ella smiled and said softly patting Iri's head " Okay but you have to properly consider what kind of a man he is before you decide to be more than friends alright? ".

" Yes I know", Iri was also serious this time.

"Well than, I'll be calling the workers here by today so can you book us a hotel or buy a quiet villa, we can always rent it out later." Ella searched for her phone again and remembered again that it was not with her.

She turned to asked Ella " Well did you got any news from the hospital?".

Iri unconsciously bit her lower lip and said " This morning before I left Jace said that Mr. Aldrich woke up for a brief moment this morning and fell asleep again".

Ella only made an 'oh' sound and after a while roughly ran her fingers down her hair " I think I'll be stopping by there first. "

Iri gave an understanding nod " Yes you should, leave things here to me, due to the incidents yesterday my work in the company has been postponed so I'm free today "

Ella went to change and after giving a hug to Ella she went out. On her way to the hospital she stopped at a flower shop looked upon the flowers and looked around the different variety of them. The owner of the shop came out and welcomed her and asked " Can I recommend you some flowers if you want? ".

Ella was grateful and agreed the offer " Sure".

" For whom to you want it for miss?". The guy, who was likely a florist asked with a cheerful smile.

Ella thought for a while with her fingers caressing the tip of her nose and replied " It is for someone very .... Noble and I want to help him".

The guy gestured his hand towards a bunch of aster flowers and said " How about that one miss, the purple aster symbolises wisdom and royalty, it is also use to express loyalty ".

Ella looked at it and the flower was to her liking so she asked him to wrap up a bunch of it for her which the owner happily complied with. She took it and went on her way again.

Ella was standing in front of Als hospital room for a while and looked into the room through the glass, not having heard much voices she decided to knock. Jonathan came and opened the door for her, when she entered Al was sitting up on the bed wearing a hospital gown and looking through some documents. He looked up when he heard someone enter and noticing that it was Ella, he smiled.

Ella didn't know what was on his mind, honestly she didn't know what to do if Al had told others about last night or if he wants to avoid her but when she saw him smile at her it strangely gave her a sense of comfort.

She spoke feeling a little nervous " How are you feeling? ". And walk a little closer to his bed and gave the flower to Al.

Al gave her a grateful thanks and Jonathan took it from him and put it in the vase.

" I'm fine now, it was nothing serious, and I'm really grateful to you for helping me, Thank you Ella". He closed his documents and hand it to Jonathan and told him " You can go back for now, Ella will will keep me company for a while".

Jonathan looked at Al weirdly, it was not normal for Al to act so grateful and gentle. And looking at Ella who was trying to keep a calm face made the situation even weird, ' didn't she helped him, what's with this awkward mood' he thought but one again he put it in the back of his mind thinking 'it's not my business'.

He took the documents and went out saying " Well then" And also bowed his head to Ella " Thank you, I'll leave him to your care then".

Ella nod her head and he left shutting the door behind him. And the room was left with an intense quietness before Al said in a nonchalant voice.

" Well Ella, since no one is here and considering that we're the only ones left can I start asking about last night? ".
