Part- 3 Friendship

             Early in the morning Ella woke up hearing a loud crash coming from the kitchen, she stood up get her staff and silently went to check. As she walk into the kitchen Iri was there cleaning up a broken plate " Iri? What are you doing here, aren't you suppose to be at Japan?" she said surprisingly and looking at her surprised face and defence posture Iri laughed and said " Well the plan got cancelled because the actor and the director got into a fight, they're postponing it until they find a new actor. I also took a break for a week to rest and spend time with you, thought you were lonely without me aren't you?" she teased.

             Ella stick out her tongue and pretended to be mad at Iri and said " I am fine alone but you should have said so if you are coming back you better make me something delicious or im gonna disfigure your pretty face". " Ow, so scary ooo, Ill try my best to satisfy you my lady" She acted scared.

Ella's POV

              After we had our breakfast I asked Iri what she was doing for the day and to my surprise she answered " I am going to a party later at night, my manager signed a contract with the empire company to model for their latest products so i was invited." " Empire company? woah what a coincidence am also going to the party" i said and she pause for a moment and looked at me shockingly " You, you are going to a party? did i just heard it wrong or did you say it wrong". I understand why she is shocked, i never attended parties and events or any social gatherings but i really want to see Al again. I roll my eyes and affirmed her " You didn't heard anything wrong! I am going, it's not bad going out once in a while besides isn't it nice that we're both going, we can go together." I smiled feeling a bit guilty as i never attended any of her parties or events, she used to invite me everytime but seeing as i don't like those she never invite me anymore.

               She stare at me for a long time before finally talking excitedly " Okay, I was going to my stylist but if you're going lets call her here and she can do both our makeup, oh by the way have you decided what to wear? let me pick it out for you." shes like a little kid going to disneyland " Sure and by the way do you know a girl named Minerva?" i asked. Minerva is the girl who came im late for the meeting yesterday, i don't know what she is doing or who she in this lifetime, i knew that person said everything will restart but does it really mean that it will be exactly the same as then, how i wish it wouldn't be.

                 Iri sat down at the sofa beside me and gave a small sigh " Are you talking about Lady Minerva Scar? You really are strange today asking about other people and all. Well, she is a famous professional violinist as well as a model for magazines, she sometimes give inspirational lectures in events, the title Lady was given to her because of her gentle and girly attitude in everything she did. I have once worked with her on a fashion show and she truly was a great person." A lady hmm, even after getting reborn i guess she still is an angel, i smiled and with a mischievous smile i told Iri " well this friend of yours is about to get weirder and weirder from now on, be prepared".

                   We talk and make cookies together the whole day, later at about 4 her stylist came and did our make up and all, i requested her to apply only a little bit of it on as im not comfortable with them. Later Iri picked out a navy blue high low dress, and silver colour heels, tied my hair up in a messy bun and a white glove while she wore a nude colour full length dress letting down her brownish blond hair. We finished up and and Iri looked at me questioningly and asked " Are you really taking that staff with you". I smiled and answered confidently " of course" she could not speak further as her date for the night came to pick her up, she said it was her friend she often work together with and they left earlier. Now that i think about it i don't have a date, well i don't need one, i left a few minutes after them.

                 When i reached the place it was crowded and i could see that there were many people who often appear on tvs and magazines. As soon as i walked in i saw Iri waving at me and i went to her. She introduced me to her companions " Ella this is Jace, Rachel and Henry and guys this is Ella" we greeted each other and right after that the party started. Al came down from the stairs with Minerva by her side, he thanked everyone for coming to his party and went on greeting the guests.

                   Suffocated with the crowd i went outside the balcony behind the curtains with a wine at hand when suddenly Aldrich came out, he nodded raising his glass at me and i smiled back. Suddenly he asked "Miss Ella is it?" surprised that he asked me i replied in a hurry " yes, Ella, Ella Grey, nice to meet you". "So what do you do for a living? i mean, i heard that you invest in a lot of business but i don't know what you .. really... do" he laughed awkwardly as if immediately regretting what he just asked, i smiled saying " i don't really do much i just invest with whatever my parents handed down to me, i sometimes paint but it is more as a hobby rather than work". "Oh that's great, i just came back from overseas and don't know much people here so can we get along?" he reached out his hands with a charming smile, i stretch out mine and said "sure if you ever need anything you can ask, ill try my best to help you in whatever way i can " just than a friend walked in and asked Al "you done?". Al nodded his head and left saying ' see you next time', I gave him a bright smile and as soon as he left it dropped.

                I saw a man standing below the balcony in the garden, it was the same man or should i say a pure blood that was following me yesterday on my way back from Old man Li, he was standing in the dark wearing a joker mask so i could not see his face. As soon as i attempted to jump down he vanished, immediately i walk out of the party and headed out.

Irene's POV

                I left as soon as the party was over, earlier i saw Ella leave in a hurry, i know she's not good with crowds but something felt off, Jace dropped me off till my house. As soon as i got off the car i felt something was wrong, the gate was open and as i enter the house there were blood on the floor, panic and scared i called out to Ella following the blood trail, i called her name again as i entered her room but as i opened her bedroom door she was laying there leaning against her bed with blood all over her. "Ella! Ella! what happened?, are you okay? ambulance, we should call an ambulance" all her clothes stained with blood and her white glove now covered with red blood, as i took out my phone to call 911 she grip my hand and said with a faint smile " it's okay, I am okay, i don't need an ambulance don't worry, it will heal in no time".

Ella's POV

                  On my way back from the party there were a group of people standing in front of my car. I got out to see that they were all demi humans except the masked guy from before. Already guessing what their purpose is i asked " who are you? what do you want?". He laughed out crazily and said "As for who I am you'll know soon but as for why we're here I am sure you already know but i'll say it just to be clear, join us princess, this is the last time we're gonna ask, please don't make it hard for us." i gave out a small sigh and walking towards them i said " You must also already know that my answer is ' no, thank you' ".

                   I set my staff on fire, i can control the staff as i desire as it is a sacred weapon, with it i killed almost all the demi humans and as always the scars they give me heal almost instantly but the masked guy with his blazing hand pierce through my stomach from the back, i didn't notice his movements and also his strength, i let my guard down and all these years of peace has made me forget just how strong the pure bloods are, he was strong, stronger than all demon I've ever seen. " Sorry princess, we'll leave for now but the next time we meet i promise to take you back. Bye princess". They vanished into thin air and i could not chase them any further, I slowly drag myself back to the house and lay down in my room as the wounds heals slowly. Normal wounds heal instantly but wounds from pure bloods take longer to heal as well as hurt 10 times more than normal ones.

As i was waiting for it to heal Iri came home, she panicked as soon as she saw me and tried to call an ambulance for me but i stopped her. She started crying holding my hand and said in a low voice " please, please tell me what happened. Please let me help you, if you never tell me anything how am i gonna help you, if you always keep everything to yourself how should i not worry about you" seeing her sob and how hurt she was for me i knew it was time for me to tell her everything, it was time she know about the beast in me.

As the wounds heal and Iri calmed down i leaned on my back and told her about me, my past and as well as the reason I am living for.
