When the sky met the sea

Me and my parents move to this new city that was really unfamiliar to me. I was almost late on my first day of class.I didn't know where to go i don't know where is my classroom.I can't ask anyone because i am an introvert but then an voice from behind surprised me "hey it's that way".I was surprised "umm do i know you?" the girl looks at me confused "Samantha it's me mitch" i was stunned for an second and i realized it was my online best friend!!we've been friends since 7'th grade of high school and now i am at 11'th grade we are still friends. She showed me around before we go into the class room and luckily we weren't late. As we enter the classroom i noticed this cute guy sitting alone.The teacher introduced me and mitch to the class and we were asked to sit down.There was only 2 spots left that was not occupied so the teacher decided to put me beside the cute guy i saw earlier and mitch was at the front of my seat.Mitch was also sitting beside an guy,the guy introduced himself as Arthur.I tried communicating with this guy beside me but i just can't do it.Mitch tried asking him his name but he didn't reply, Arthur introduced him as Andy he said that andy was the top of the class and also he is an introvert so he doesn't talk to anyone unless the teacher ask him to.Many days have passed and arthur was right Andy never speaks unless it's an recitation or reporting. After a few weeks i was doing very well on my studies and many teacher said i have an potential that i can get an higher grades than Andy,And yes after a few months the 1st quarter ends and i was really stunned when the teacher announced that i was the highest and i beat Andy's grades that means I was the top 1 and Andy was top 2. Mitch was super happy about my achievement so she wants to celebrate with me by an sleepover on my place "I happily agreed to her opinion and we absolutely had a lot of fun".We watched many movies and we ate many delicious foods after that sleepover me and mitch was very close to each other very close that i tell her my secrets. One time me and Andy bumped to each other to the garden hallway and then when we passed by each othe he shouted and called my name "Samantha" when he called my name i didn't know what happened but i had butterflies in my stomach.I turned around to look at him and i can't help to notice his beautiful brown eyes looking at me.While he is looking at me he said "Hey if you think you are the most genius person in the world because you are the top 1 you are wrong that title is just temporary i will be getting it back this 2nd quarter".I just looked at him stunned and confuse "ohh so you just treat me like an opponent huh?",Is this really andy? why is he doing this? I thought he will congratulate me but i was wrong,I was just an opponent in his eyes?. I was almost gonna cry but Mitch suddenly appeared so i stopped my self from crying but when i got home i go straight to my bedroom and there i cried all night.It was my first time getting that kind of comment and i was emotional.All my life I am adjusting so that people can like me and i am going to do it again this time.After that happened i told the teacher that i have an eye problem and i have to be in the front row.The teacher put me in the front row and after that happened i purposely fail my exam so that Andy can be the first one again. After a few months Andy became the top 1 again and as for me i didn't have any rank after that,my parents was also called because of my grades.My parents tried confronting me about this issue but i am still failing my exams and quizzes because i was scared that Andy will be angry at me again. One day my parents woke me up to tell me something and it was actually about my grades and turns out they knew about what happened at that day that Andy told me that.My mother told me that someone had an video of me and Andy talking abd then he told me that my title was just temporary.I gave in after my parents told me that it's not me that should adjust it should be the other people.At that night i told my parents everything and they were listening to me and telling me some advice.And so then i decided that i should not fail my exams and quizzes and just be the person i want to be and not care to peoples opinions.
