Chapter 18 Present Day

When Xavior and Clara woke up they felt refreshed and not tired at all. He told her to continue the act with the fake Xavior and not to change up the plans since they will change their plans which will trap Felix and the king himself and others in the midst.
He makes the calls to the alphas which Felix was to do but he was detained doing other things with the king as he came back home early that morning. Clara's guards and her brothers warrior kept both the king and Felix busy so that the real Xavior busy to do his business. He advised what was happening and how the plan was going to be different than the plan that was originally depicted. They all agreed to go along with the plan that Felix was giving out.
The king and Xavior returns back to the castle to do work but Xavior excuses himself to return to Clara's bedroom to make those phone calls that he was supposed to do. When he arrived there were new guards standing outside the hallway guarding her door. They had strict orders not to let anyone in and to warn when 'Xavior' had arrived.
"Where do you think you are going?" one of the guards said with a booming voice.
"Move or I'll break your neck, pup." he yelled back.
Clara had moved the others to her secret passage and told them to turn their phones off so that he could not hear them if they went off. They agreed to her commands but she told her mate to have his beta call Felix to move him out of the room so that they could do more work.
She linked the guard to let him in but the guard just smirked at him behind his back knowing what was going to happen. Only a select few knew the change of the plans just incase there was a mole in the castle that reported back to Felix and Libby. They did not want anything getting out.
"What the hell is going on?" he exclaims with an angry voice forgetting that he was with Clara.
"What do you want? I told you not to call me I am on a mission damn it!"
"Alpha, Libby is here with a guest and she wants you back at your house now. Please hurry she is on a rampage of wanting to kill anyone who gets in the way not telling her where you are at."
"Put that b***h on the phone now."
"Where are you darling?"
"Do not 'darling' me you b***h, get the hell off my territory or I will have my beta kill you now! And further more it is none of your business what the f*****g hell I do!"
"My, my, my such a temper Felix I would think twice about using that tone with me as you know what I can do to your entire pack if I want to."
"Get out now!"
He hangs up the phone and walks back in grabs his jacket and leaves mumbling to himself. He does not let Clara know what is happening but runs out the door and down the hall ordering a pack member to get his car. He goes to the kings office and tells Matthew that he has to return to his pack to take care of some business but will return with the day or two.
"Okay come on out he's gone, now that was perfect except we need his phone to plant the but. He'll come back and we need to distract him away from his phone in order to do that." Clara sighs.
"I put the tracker on his car before one of the members came to get it. We can also track his GPS in his vehicle when it is turned on" Scott tells them.
"Good, now we need to do this with the kings phones, and all his vehicles that he drives old and new of course. Also we need to hear and see what is being said on the cells including the texts and emails. See about putting anything on his computer if possible to trace those emails and bank accounts. We need videos in his offices and all the rooms he occupies on a daily basis and if watch to see where he goes and make sure there is something there too.
We have to have solid evidence that he is dirty as well as Felix is. We need to watch everyone and trust no one from the castle or the pack as we do not know who is the mole here." Xavior tells the group.
Scott and his brother are tech geniuses but so are their cousins who are going to monitor the entire process that is in a different area of the territory. They are linked so they are able to communicate with the pack members but are under strict instructions to communicate with Clara and their cousins only.
"We need to figure out how to get to Libby and get all this set up on her phones and vehicles as well."
"I got it send in Kelly Carrlson, she's not mated and an excellent tracker."
"I don't know she is very fond of the pack and her family but she is a loner and doesn't have that many friends that I do know."
Clara links Kelly to come into her room. They are friends and have been for along time but they are not best of friends as Kelly is happy to be by herself.
"Princess you asked for me to come?"
"Yes, I did and what we are bout to tell you is very top secret and going to ask you to do a mission for us, you can turn it down it will never be held against you." Clara lets her know that Kelly has the option to refuse.
"Okay, please tell me what it is that you wish me to do and I will make an informed decision afterwards."
"Kelly that is fair enough and all we ask of you. This is Xavior and Dunken the true alpha and beta the other is Felix portraying Xavior."
"Okay, I am sorry but I was not paying much attention as I should have and I do apologize for that alpha."
"No do not worry about I was actually at my pack doing pack business then got the call that...well I surely cannot be in two places at once." Xavior chuckles.
"What are you needing alpha and princes?"
"We are wanting to send a spy into Libbys camp of rogues under cover of course. Now this is where it's going to be tricky so please just hear us out before you ask us questions, okay?"
"Yes sir just lay it all out on the table and I will not judge. I may repeat to make sure I understand it all then give you my decision."
They all take a long deep breath before going into details of what they are needing. They have everything written down so that they do not forget anything and they will be able to provide the paper to Kelly so that she can look over it and put her own personal touch on her own background if she so chooses.
"We know you have round bottle green eyes and are pretty much a loner and like to keep to yourself which is one of the reasons why we are chose you. We would like for you to go into her camp as a rogue set up cameras, tap all the phones that Libby has including all her vehicles. If we could get this done there we would not have to wait until she comes here to the castle to visit the king. We are looking for any kind of information that will help us take her over including her pack and kill off Felix all in one blow. Then we can handle the king himself."
"Okay, I don't understand what the king has to do with any of this though. Sorry I interrupted."
"We will get to that. So here is what your rogue will be like. Loner, no friends, able to work for others, have a negative body image, weak as a human but wolf is immensely stronger than normal, possess magic and you would have died for your king and pack. But you got kicked our of pack and castle for not protecting the king or the princess."
"Wow that is a lot but I can add what I want to this right?"
"Yes, that is if you decide to take on the task. You will be in constant contact with us at all times so you do not have to worry about not being off our limits. Try to get in good with Libby, gain her trust so she will let you go on missions with her including bringing her back here so that we can do the work to her vehicles unless you want to try and do that yourself."
"Let's see, I can mask my scent even change it to make myself stinky, I do possess some magic but not much I will have mom teach me...ooo I can use that as an excuse to gain access in their camp. I want to practice magic and you all exiled me because of it. I do not have to tell them I am from this pack but a different one so that would make it easier to get in for a while get the intel you need and then move on."
"Correct, but only if you want to do this, we know you are not mated that is one reason why we pulled you and asked if you want the task."
"Just curious, what if I find my mate while in the rogue camp? What should I do then?"
"You can accept him or her and fully become rogue, bring them back here and we will explain everything but have to put him in the cells to make sure he does not run back blow your cover or our operations or you can reject them and hope to get a better mate."
She looks over the papers and reads them carefully once again and starts coming up with a back story that would work extremely well with their plan.
"I'm in when do you want to pack and go?"
"Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Yes, I am now what does this have to do with this girl Libby and the king?"
"He's doing something with Libby and the rogues and has visited them a lot and she's been here frequently as well. It will be my job to challenge him and over throw him if he does not let me take over the thrown within the next six months to a year. I will let him know this and see how it goes then start preparing myself for this battle. Now we know the battle agains Felix will be epic and we do not know when that will happen and I am not sure if I want to take the thrown over before or after the fight with Felix." Clara speaks up giving her the low down on her own father.
"I am truly sorry princess, I do not have words to say right now. Clara I know we are friends and your father has kept you away from all the others kids in our pack."
"It's okay really I know the truth of who I am and been secretly leaving this pack to train with my family so it's not biggie. Plus I got these big brains here to help me train extra for what I need."
