Chapter 5

Zara's POV

I felt at peace and warmth was flowing through out my body and for some weird feeling I didn't think I was dead because I don't think death would be this warm and peaceful and I felt safer than before and that is one thing I have been lacking in my life for a very long time, I wished I could stay I. this warmth forever. I opened my eyes and that's when I realised I was in unknown place as I tried to make sense of the events that transpired last night because it was clearly obvious that I was still alive and who the hell is holding me in the most comfortable warmth.

Fear started gripping at my heart and I just prayed that it is not a rogue but I would have been tied to a chair or a wall with silver chains. No one would protect me so who was this. I opened my eyes slowly taking in the environment that I was in, it looked like a cabin and a very cozy and comfortable. I removed myself from the bulky man and his warmth, I regretted it the moment I start feeling cold and lonely but I needed to get away from this man before his troops wake up and torture me. I move slowly to the door and I successfully get outside, I ran through the path directly across the cabin,i could still see the lake from where I was which means I'm still at the place near the pack, without hesitation I moved toward the lake and that's when I regretted coming back here because my enemies were surrounding the lake like they were looking for something, a twig snapped when I was about to turn around alerting them that I was there.

" oh well here she is the packs slave , you are in big trouble because we couldn't find breakfast when we woke up and now the Alpha has made everyone to go looking for you and don't you even think that you are special because guess what you are not we just want someone to do the cooking for all of us"

Melisa said while growling showing all her hatred towards me and her golden eyes shining revealing that her wolf was near.

" you better follow us right now before we even decide to end you right now because seeing you actually makes our Luna angry" Mandy one her minion said

What did I just hear, their Luna which means Mason chose her as his Luna, wow he sure moves on way too fast considering he just rejected me just yesterday. My heart was in turmoil and I felt pain all over again as everything that happened came crushing back like a fire ball.

Dave and Mandy gave a wicked laugh confirming that they don't care about me. I was already hurt about what happened to me these past two days and my tormentors decided to leave their homes to come and spite me all over again. I will never allow it, I never knew Mason was a total asshole as he never did anything to me just his gazes were showing his hatred towards me but now he has gone to make me a laughing stock, I know he didn't want me but there was no need to shame me even more.

" Zara.......you know that you are alone, no need to think of any lies, just look around and you will see. Even if we were to hurt you no one would know and even if they did, you would be long dead before you are found, so you better keep that in mind and corporate with us."

" What are you talking about?"

I took few steps back trying to create more space between us. They can really hurt me these ones and truly no one would know that I've gone missing. I had left on my own accord and now I regret leaving the hands of that bulgy man , maybe I would be alive who knows but only if he was not a rogue, though he didn't smell like it.

" We won't kill you don't worry, Alpha Mason wants you alive and even if the idea does cross our mind , it won't be done by us anyways."

Mandy declared grabbing my hand tight, she had moved so fast that I couldn't even react, having a wolf does that and I remembered that I haven't even shifted into mine. I tried to push her away but the force was too much, I thought my heart will leap out of my throat with the way I was feeling.

" I suggest you leave me alone because I'm not alone here, I'm telling you....I'm with someone powerful an Alpha to be exact and he has taken a liking in me and is even willing to protect me." That was the only thing I could think about, we could be at the boarders of Blood Moon pack for all I know. They just laughed at me as if I had just grown two heads on my head, I felt defeated .

" Stop lying you w***e, we know you would do anything to get yourself out of the situation. so stop spouting nonsense and just come with us,we haven't rested enough and you are trying to make us more tired just come with us already "

Melisa was starting to get angry and I know she might actually hurt me because if it's really true Mason wanted me back which means her chances of becoming a Luna would be ruined but I don't get it I thought she was chosen already.

" I'm not lying he will be here soon please for your sakes just leave me alone. Melisa if I go with you knowing that I'm Mason's mate ,you might not become the Luna so the chance is yours now please take it."I declared hoping that she would see it my way and actually leave me alone but I was mistaken as she growled and slapped me on my face turning my head while grabbing my other hand pulling me towards the pack. I knew that it would definitely leave a bruise.

" Hold on , hey you are hurting me, please let me go, I'm telling you the truth he is here and he won't like what you are doing to me."

This was the end for me, I'm going to face Mason again and probably be punished all over again. My heart stopped when I heard a loud growl that shook the ground and from the way it sounded it was from a very powerful man to be exact, it had the commanding power. We all turned towards the growl and that's when I saw the very same bulgy man I had left in the cabin and Goddess I was so glad to see him as I freed myself from their grip and slammed myself into him and he wrapped his hands on my body immediately feeling the warmth again.
