Chapter Four: CryingDamian tells himself to stay away. There's no reason for him to check up on the young creature living just a floor below his own, but his feet guides him towards the apartment and he gravitates there without thinking.
Liam looks as surprised as he feels when he appears at the door, but quickly schools his expression to one of calm disinterest. "Are you here to check up on her?" he asks, offering him a reason that he takes gratefully.
"How is she settling in?" he asks. "Is there anything you need?" He feels out of place here. He knows it's because they're both Alphas ans he has been here long enough for his scent to settle. Liam moves as though to stop him from entering, but he levels the man with a stern look and the lesser Alpha tilts his head back, offering his neck
