CHAPTER 4: THEY MET AGAIN

“s**t!” mura ni Sandrick ng wala pa rin tigil sa pagkirot ang ngipin niya. Naikot na nga niya ang buong parte ng kama niya dahil sa sobrang sakit niyon dahilan para hindi siya makatulog ng maayos.
He uses his tongue to move his aching tooth. He could feel one of his teeth shaking a little. He stood up and looked at himself in the mirror. His tooth were slightly swollen; it looked like he had mumps. He was also unable to drink cold water.
It looks like he really needed to consult a dentist, so he quickly picked up his phone on the side of his pillow when he remembered what Nicholai had said and asked the address of the clinic he went to.
After the call, he looked at himself in the mirror again, and to his surprise, the woman in the Mall suddenly entered his mind. He smiled as he remembered how she reacts to what he did. He even closes his eyes when she remembers her sweet and soft lips, especially her scent. His thought shook him. He shouldn’t be fantasizing about the woman who’s torturing him now in his situation.
He clenched his fist. “Hide wherever you are because, by the time we meet again, I’ll make sure that I will make your life a living hell,” he said in the mirror.
“WE’RE done!” Princess announced after giving her twelve years old patient a dental filling due to tooth decay.
Before she sent her patient to the front desk for the payment, she gave him some tips first on how to prevent tooth decay.
“Good oral and dental hygiene can help you avoid cavities and tooth decay. So from now on, you should brush your teeth at least twice a day or after every meal, using fluoride-containing toothpaste. To clean between your teeth, floss or use an interdental cleaner, okay?” The boy nodded.
“Eat tooth-healthy foods. Some foods and beverages are better for your teeth than others. Avoid foods that get stuck in grooves and pits of your teeth for long periods, or brush soon after eating them. So stop eating sweets and sugary foods, okay?” she added.
The kid raised his right hand. “I promise that I will brush my teeth three times a day or every after I eat chocolates and candies.”
“Promise?”
Tumango ang bata. “Hmm! Cross my heart!”
She smiled. “Good! You may now go with your Mom.”
“Thank you, Doctor Princess! See you when I see you!”
“Bye!” she waved.
After that session, she immediately removes her gloves.
“Papasukin muna iyong sunod na pasyente,” pakiusap niya sa kaniyang assisstant na si Viodeza na agad naman nitong sinunod.
“Dok, si Sir Sandrick Ramal po. Mobile teeth ang case,” imporma ni Viodeza na parang kinikilig nang makita nito ang lalaki.
Napatigil si Cess sa pagpapalit ng bagong gloves nang pumasok ang isang makisig at matangkad na lalaki. Kinolob nito ng pamilyar na pabango ang clinic niya. Shoulder length hair ito with perfect beard na pinapangarap ng halos lahat ng kalalakihan sa Asya, mayroon ding itong pointed noise at kissable heart shape lips.
Napakagat labi siya nang mapagtanto niyang ang labi na yata nito ang pinaka-sexy sa lahat ng lalaking nakita niya sa tanang buhay niya.
“Dok!”
Bakat din ang mga muscles nito sa suot nitong semi-transparent long sleeve na inirolyo nito hanggang siko na pinaresan ng ripped jeans at top marks boots.
“Dok!” natigil ang papuri niya sa binata nang tapikin siya ni Viodeza sa kaniyang balikat.
“Ayos ka lang?” anito saka nagpapalit-palit ang tingin niya sa assisstant at sa pasyente.
Napalunok siya at mabilis na iniwas ang tingin sa lalaki na nakangiti sa kaniya ng nakakaloko. Napansin siguro nito ang ginawa niyang paninitig dito.
“Hi, Sir, good morning! Welcome to my clinic. I'm Dra. Princess Fortaleza.”
Inabot nito ang pakikipagkamay niya. “Sandrick Ramal.” At bigla siyang napabitaw nang makaramdam siya ng kakaibang kiliti roon.
“Ikaw nga talaga,” singit naman ni Viodeza na kumikinang-kinang pa ang mga matang nakatingin sa binata.
“Ano na ulit ang case niya?”
“Mobile teeth, Dok,”
“Okay! Paki-ready na lang 'yong mga tools,” aniya matapos nilang magpakilala sa isa't isa saka pina-upo ang binata sa dental chair.
“SO, you’re having a dental trauma,” she said after she saw in the mouth mirror that his tooth was woobly.
Dental trauma is physical injury to the teeth, gums, the alveolar bone, the bone that holds the tooth sockets, or the soft tissue of the mouth, including the lips and tongue. There are several types of injury that fall under the category of dental trauma such as chipped tooth Tooth fractures, including root fractures, enamel fractures, etc. Tooth knocked loose, subluxation. Tooth jammed into socket, intrusion. Tooth knocked out, avulsion. Fracture of the tooth socket wall, jaw fracture, lacerations of the lips and lacerations of the gums.
“May I know what happened that makes you having a dental trauma? Kasi sa nakikita ko wala namang sira ang ngipin mo,”
She needs to know that because being a dentist, in order to make your patient comfortable with you, you have to start it with a conversation.

I had nowhere to run so when I saw the woman standing alone in front of a fast food chain, I quickly kissed her so that those chasing me wouldn't notice me and I succeeded. Then suddenly, the woman punched me hard. She’s lucky that I didn't see much of her face because if I do? I will make her life a living hell for giving me a hard time,” he said that makes her stunned for a moment.
She can't be wrong, that scene is very familiar to her because that scene haunts her since that day. She’s hundrend percent sure, that it was that man, the one who kissed her at the Mall the other day. That is why the scent of its perfume is familiar to her.
“How about you, Doc? Anong nangyari sa kamay mo?” tanong nito dahilan para dumulas ang hawak niyang scaler.
“Ouch!” Daing ng binata ng masugat niya ang gilagid nito.
“S-sorry! May kumagat kasi sa paa ko. Sorry talaga,” pagdadahilan niya pero sa loob-loob niya ay gusto na niyang kutusan ang sarili dahil sa hindi kapani-paniwalang palusot niya.
“Ayos lang. Malayo ito sa bituka.” Nililinis na kasi niya ang ngipin nito bago simulan ang paglalagay ng splint para ma-stabilize ang apektadong ngipin ngunit hindi siya makapag-focus sa ginagawa kaya napadaing ito dahil hindi sinasadyang natamaan niya ang gilagid nito dahil sa panginginig ng kaniyang mga kamay.
Dapat umakto siyang propesyonal ngunit hindi niya magawa. Pinupuno ng kaba at panginginig ang buong pagkatao niya sa kaalamang ito nga ang lalaki sa Mall. Buong buhay niya ngayon lang siya nakaramdam ng ganoon sa isang pasyente. Ito lang ang bukod tanging nakapagparamdam nito sa kaniya. Daig pa nito ang pagiging clinician niya noong mga panahon na magsisimula pa lang siya ng operation.
“Heto ba? Naku! May pagka-clumsy kasi ako minsan kaya ayon, tumama sa lamesa ko kahapon,” palusot niya.
Hindi nito dapat malaman na siya ang babaeng hinalikan nito dahil siguradong magdudulot iyon ng malaking gulo.
Hindi naman na nagtanong o nagsalita pa ang binata dahil sinisimulan na niya ang paglalagay ng splint sa apektadong ngipin nito na inabot ng labing limang minuto na minsan ay nagagawa naman niya ng limang minuto lamang.
EARLIER, Sandrick woke up with a toothache again. When he arrived at the clinic, his forehead twitched when he notice that most of the patient are men. They are almost like auditioning for a reality show because of their over-looks and outfit. But he just ignored it and fixed his aviator so that people wouldn’t recognize him and went straight to the information desk to tell his situation.
“Good morning, Sir! Welcome to Fortaleza’s Dental Clinic! Do you have an appointment for today?” the receptionist asked.
“Yeah! My friend, Nicholai, scheduled me here yesterday.” Agad namang hinanap ng babae ang pangalan niya sa listahan ng mga nagpa-schedule.
“Okay, Sir! Kindly fill-out this form and wait for your name to be called,” the woman informed then handed him a form for his basic information and a PDA chart that serve as his monitoring sheet.
“Thank you!”
When his name was called, he immediately saw a cute girl, probably the type of Nicholai based on how he describe her last night. But he ignored her because the woman who’s wearing a dental white gown really caught his attention especially her built. It looks familiar to him.
He read its name on the dental gown silently and it says that she’s Dr. Princess Fortaleza.
What Nicholai had told him about the dentist was true. She has an angelic face, puffy eyes, thin lips and a pointed nose. Above all, she’s freeking sexy.
Now he knew why those men in the waiting area were over dressed because of these two women. He also smiled when he realized she was staring at him intently. Does she recognize him as one of the famous racer in the country?
The doctor had just returned to her senses when her assisstant gets his attention.
“Good morning, Sir! Welcome to my clinic! I’m Dr. Fortaleza,” she introduced as she extended her hand for a handshake.
“Sandrick Ramal,” he said sparingly and took her hand.
When they shook hands, sparks suddenly flowed from her hand to his heart. And he knew that she also felt that way because she immediately distanced herself to him. He wouldn’t denied that her hand was soft.
“Oh my Gosh! You really are Sandrick Ramal. The famous racer in the country. It was nice seeing you up close," Viodeza interrupt and held his hand. Her eyes were sparkling. She’s probably fantasizing him.
She just stopped when the doctor instructed her to assisst him on the dental chair and put the dental bib polyback towel on his neck. When he lay down, the doctor stayed on the side of his head to start their session, giving him a hard time especially when her familiar scent filled his nostril. He also noticed that her right hand was injured because of the bandage that is visible in her gloves.
And that was the time he realized that the woman who punched him the other day in the Mall and the dentist in front of him today is just the same person. He couldn’t be mistaken because he didn’t forget the mixture of her perfume and her natural body fragrance which left a smell on his shirt he was wearing that day.
And he thinks he was lucky today because their paths cross again. He came back to his senses when she started to make a conversation.
“May I know what happened that makes you having a dental trauma?”
He smirked. It’s time for reminiscing the scene that day. “ I went to the Mall the other day and my fans chased me. I had nowhere to run so when I saw the woman standing alone in front of a fast food restaurant, I quickly kissed her so that those chasing me wouldn't notice me and I succeeded. Then suddenly, the woman punched me hard. She’s lucky that I didn't see much of her face because if I do? I will make her life a living hell for giving me a hard time," he said that makes her stunned for a moment.
His hundred percent sure that she also remembered that scene.
“How about you, Doc? Anong nangyari sa kamay mo?” he asked causing the scaler she was holding slipped on his gums.
“Ouch!” he whinned.
“S-sorry! May kumagat kasi sa paa ko. Sorry talaga,” she said that makes him laugh a little bit.
‘What a liar!’ he said to himself.
“Ayos lang. Malayo naman ito sa bituka,” he joked.
“Heto ba? Naku! May pagka-clumsy kasi ako minsan kaya ayon, tumama sa lamesa ko kahapon,” she explained but he won’t buy it.
“I’m now going to put the splint so stay still, Mr. Ramal,” she said, changing the topic.
“Ahh, ahh. Open. More...” anito na pinapanganga pa siya ng kaunti.
He knew that for her, there was no malice but it was different from him because she sounds like she’s moaning, causing his pants to tighten.
There is something in the dentist that draws him. He just closed his eyes to calm himself with the heat she was creating inside him.
“OKAY! Don't eat hard foods, it’s better if you bite or chew on the right part of your mouth,” Princess reminded Sandrick after their session.
He nodded. “Thank you!”
“You can now go back to the front desk,” she said after writing something in his PDA Chart and immediately removes her white dental gown and went to the bathroom.
When the dentist turned away, he noticed how her butt bounced, which made his body even hotter.
“Hey! Do you have anything else you want to ask Dr. Cess?" Viodeza caught his attention.
“N-nothing! I’m leaving," he said when she suddenly stopped him.
“Wait! Pwede ba akong magpa-picture?” she requested while giving him a puppy eyes look.
He smiled. “Sure!” he said then put his arm around her shoulder and smiled at the camera.
“Thank you, idol!”
“Your welcome,” he said then led him to the front desk.
He was about to go when she stopped him again.
“Pwedeng pa-autograph na rin, please?” she pleaded as she handed to him a paper and pen.
He smiled and signed the paper. “See you again when I see you!” she shouted.
He just smiled at her again before exited.
‘Even if you don’t say, I’lll come back here, again and again,’ he promise himself when he get in his car, looking at the clinic from a far.
