DETECTIVE'S MISSION II

"Sere!" I turned my gazed when I heard Vij calling out my name.

She's with Knox while walking towards me and then, she hugged me so I'd asked her, "Why are you crying? Is there someone who hurt you?" she embraced me tightly and replied, "sort of".

"W-wala na si Yel.. wala n-na si Yeleina." but while she's saying those words, she can't help to cry all over the pain, Yeleina is Vij's childhood bestfriend so that, she want a justice.

"Sere.. I know you always solve cases. Please, help them" she kneeled in front of me.

"Ok, I'll ju—" I'm about to say something but someone's calling which cause of interrupting it.

[Hello? Is this Ms. Serenity?] I raised my eyebrows like thinking who's this calling?

"Uh, yes. May I know who are you?" , he breath deeply and starts introducing himself.

[Uh, this is Police Sergeant Frix Lincoln, the police who got your number from the crime scene 2 months ago.] Oh I remember.

"Oh, sir, sorry for my brat attitude a while ago. Another crime scene?" I slung my bag over my shoulder and started walking with Knox and Vij.

[Yes Miss, at the Vaxiara's residence.] oh.

"Oh, I knew it. That person who died is my best friend. We're on our way, wait for me." I looked at Vij and she's still cryin' and Knox's comforting her.

[Ok, see you.] and Mr. Lincoln end up the call.

"Tara?" I smiled at them bitterly and starts walking going to the crime scene, we're almost there.

When we reach our destination, I entered the house and saw Yeleina's hanging body. I saw Inspector Franz but I didn't mind to interrupt his conversation with Sir Lincoln. I saw the distance of the chair and her feet, malayo ang distansya nito kaya impossibleng suicide ito.

I walk towards the living room and I saw a two glass of cold water.

The sofa was disarranged and the window is broken.

"Goodmorning Ms. Serenity." I looked at Sir Lincoln and salute to him, he can't do anything about it because he's too far from me, he don't want me to salute to him but I already did it.

He walk towards me and said, "Ms. Sere, our Inspector Franz says, this is a suicid—" I'd interrupt his words.

"No! This is not a suicide." Inspector Franz turned gazed at me with a little bit confused.

"How can you say so, Ms. Serenity? You're just a normal student so who are you to judg—" Sir Lincoln restrained his words and I started raising my eyebrows to him, I really can't help to show my brat attitude.

Brat Detective, psh.

"There's a foul play happening here."

"Miss. I saw this Suicide Note on her hands." I'm a little bit confused and I grabbed it and starts decoding it using my mind,

"Who's the one who saw the victim's body before calling the police?" everyone turned gaze to someone when it said, "m-me" which is, his eyes are swollen.

"Who are you?" I walk towards him and starts scanning all over his body.

"I'm colden, her brother." it seems that he's a quiet enough and deeply sleeping when that crime happened but I have my evidence based on his name. I'd inspect the downstairs and starts asking again.

"Colden, what time did you saw your sister's hanging body?" I raised my eyebrows, again.

"7am" I looked at him.

"Is there something trouble that happen with you and your sister before she died?"

"Wala po."

Hindi ako mapakali, hindi sapat ang mga evidences ko.

I looked at victim's body and I saw a code on it's right arm.

I decoded it using my mind and still, the name of the person that appears on the suicide note is still him.

No, this is impossible.

"Ah! I remember, yesterday night, I saw her walking towards the garage, I just let her to go there because I thought, she'll just make herself calm because she's totally a little bit depressed because of our parents." Inspector Franz suddenly speaks.

"See?! She got depressed so that, she decided to suicide to end her life."

"Bobo, ang kulit mo, hindi na 'yan suicide, homicide 'yan" pinanlakihan ako ng mata ni Inspector Franz.

"Aba, bastos na bata 'to, binobobo ako e." pinigilan ito ni Sir Lincoln at nagpasensya, "Pasensya na po, gan'yan po talaga 'yang batang 'yan." I rolled my eyes and starts investigating.

"Where's your garage?" I looked at Colden.

"Sa labas po" malamang sere, sa labas, yawa ka.

I'd follow Colden and starts inspecting this garage.

Under the car, I saw a towel that you'll really notice that it was used for the victim's mouth so that she will not make any noise. I saw a black button too, hmm? And on the floor of the garage, I saw a letters, which is a code again.

"Colden, let's come back to the living room." I slowly walk towards to the living room.

When I entered the living room, it was filled with silence.

Everyone shocked when I almost shout.

"WELL, well, well. Vij." her face was shocked when I walk towards her.

"Well played, Vij, but you lose." I smirked.

"W-wait, b-bakit ako?" She can't even stare at me.

"Yes, you." I smiled at her bitterly.

"Let the deduction begin!" Sir Lincoln shouted. I smirked.

"In the middle of the night, Yeleina came at the garage, right?" Colden nooded.

I raised the towel that I saw under the car at the garage "This towel was used to cover Yeleina's mouth so that, she can't make some noise" I rolled my eyes.

"I saw this black button too" I walk towards Vij, "May I see your shorts button?" but she's not doing any move so that, I'm the one who do it and look, there's no button on her shorts. "See?"

"I saw this letters on the floor of the garage too.

DPNF, this is an augustus code and when I decoded it, it's COME.

come is an english word and when you translate it in Albanian, the result will be "vij", Yeleina's my bestfriend, and we're both fan of codes." I glared at Vij and rolled my eyes.

"She brought Yeleina's body inside the house and hang her body so that, I'll look like a suicide. She even did some evidences that I saw so that, other persons would be involved in this situation and blame them even though they didn't do any move." I started walk towards to the living room's table.

"The cold water on this table was used to make as evidence and blame Colden, because of his name "cold", but Colden is innocent."

I raised the code on a paper that I saw and the code on the suicide note that someone gave it to me.

"She even tried to use the Polybius Square and ASCII code and use Knox's name and blame him, but Knox is innocent too." Knox pushed her away and Vij starts to wander.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! 'YAN! D'YAN KA MAGALING, SERENITY! ANG GALING-GALING MO! NAPAKAGALING MO KAYA PALAGI NALANG AKO NI MAMA KINUKUMPARA SAYO! KINUKUMPARA NA NGA AKO NI MAMA SA'YO, TAPOS INAGAW MO PA SA'KIN YUNG CHILDHOOD BESTFRIEND KO! MAS MATAGAL KAMING MAGKAIBIGAN PERO KAYO YUNG PALAGING MAGKASAMA AT MAS CLOSE! NAGKAKAROON NG FAVORITISM SA MAGKAKAIBIGAN! AND YOU! KNOX! I LIKE YOU, I LIKE YOU BU—" Knox slapped her.

"You like me but you made me included in those people who killed Yeleina but I'm not doing anything?! And Vij, I just want you to know, I DON'T LIKE YOU, I don't want to waste my time on a person like you! Oh com'on! You're crazy asfvck, Vij!" I restrained Knox and starts take him away to Vij.

Vij just kneeled and cry.

"Just arrest me, sir. I know that I did a mistake. I know my mistake." The policemans arrest her and starts walking towards the police car, but before she enter the police car, she turned her gaze to me and said, "sorry".

Knox walk towards me and said "Tara na sa school?" I just nooded and starts walking with him.

"Case closed."
