Lila
A loud noise came from outside the room. I felt Alcaide get up from the bed and moved towards the door. He closed it with a soft click. I heard a female voice that made me stand up and go outside. I opened the door but what I heard made me stop.
" Babe tell your guards to let me go". I looked to see who said that. She was beautiful. Her blonde hair flowed to her waist. She has the body every girl would be envious of and every guy would want.
"What is happening to Alcaide?" I asked. He turned to face me. His angry face turned soft as he saw me. I could feel a glare on my face. I saw the blonde giving me a deadly glare. Alcaide came to me and stood beside me.
" I don't want to see you ever again. You can go back to your home. I have finally found my mate." he said, the last one looking at me. I smiled a little at his words.
" Not possible. I am your mate. She is just a b***h using magic to trap you" she screamed. The temperature of the hall dropped. I could feel it including the blonde and the guards. Suddenly, Alcaide was in front of her and held her neck. He whispered something in her ear. I could see the fear in her eyes. I was curious to know what he told her. He left her and the guards dragged her out.
"What did you say to her?" I asked
" Nothing, mate. Come let's get you back to the bed" he took my hand gently and we went inside his chambers. My mind drifted back to what she called him. I could feel the jealousy inside me rising up.
" Who is she?" I asked. The jealousy could be detected in my voice. He looked surprised when I asked that question.
" She is no one,mate. The elders wanted me to mate with her since I had not found my mate but that is not going to happen because you're here with me." he explained. If I hadn't ran from my former pack, my mate would have been mated to someone else. I felt tears trickling from my eyes.
" Mate, please don't cry. I promise I won't ever leave your side." I nodded.
The sun hit my face. I rolled over hoping to feel my mate but the bed was empty. I saw a piece of paper on the table. I picked it up.
' Good morning mate, I left for an important meeting. I sent the maids to prepare breakfast for you. See you soon my love'

I blushed seeing the last words. I went inside the bathroom and took a shower. I came out wondering what I would wear since I don't have any clothes. I decided to wear Alcaide clothes again. I love wearing his clothes. It is so comfortable and smells like him. I reminded myself I will tell my mate so I can go shopping. A knock was heard from the door. I opened it to see a maid with a tray on her hands.
" Good morning. Alpha Alcaide has sent your breakfast." I collected it from her and mumbled a 'thank you'. I sat on the bed and enjoyed breakfast.
After a few hours of doing nothing inside the chambers, I decided to explore the kingdom. I got up from the bed and left the room. I walked down the hallway admiring the designs made on the wall. The palace has a specific colour that makes it stand out. I explored all the rooms on the first floor which took time with how big the palace was. I decided to find something to eat. I walked down the stairs hoping to find the kitchen. After an hour of not finding the kitchen, I finally asked a maid who took me to the kitchen. My mouth widened seeing the kitchen. It was big. Maids ran all over the place doing their work. The maid from this morning spotted me as she came over to me.
" Do you need anything ma'am?" she asked.
I looked around seeing some maids looking at me, maybe wondering who I was.
" I was checking if I could make a little lunch," I said.
" We will deliver your lunch to you on the dining table." she said and left. I turned to go to the dining table when I realized I don't know where it is.
" b***h, you got the nerves to steal the Alpha from me now he already has a mate" a voice boomed through the hallway as I tried to look for the dining room. I saw the blonde from yesterday storming towards me. Her expression was deadly. Her eyes held so much hatred that I was used to but hers felt different.
" I didn't steal any one from you. I am his mate" I said trying to steady my voice.
" b***h" I felt a sting on my cheeks. She slapped me. I have always made people get what they want from me knowing I owe them nothing. I have suffered the insults, the beatings, the r**e and the hatred. But now she slapped me because she wanted what belongs to me and made an unexpected anger rise on me. Next thing I know my hand moved on its own land on her. I was surprised but I didn't let it show.
" Alcaide is my mate. The moon goddess gave him to me knowing we will be a perfect match for each other. Know that he would never want you..."
"And you think that he wants you" her laugh sounds evil. " You're nobody. Nobody wants you. And when Alcaide knows that he will reject you". I wanted to cry. Thinking of when Alcaide finds out how disgusting I am made all the confidence I had vanish. I saw her eyes spackle as she grabbed my hand. Next thing I know she is on the floor crying. Fake tears
" Alpha she just pushed me"
'Alpha' I turned only to see Alcaide standing In front of me with an unreadable expression.
" I didn't push her" he didn't say anything. He just watched the blonde. Is he going to believe her? He's going to believe his mate right.
" I saw what happened to Scarlet. I'm not dumb. I've warned you but you can't listen but I will make sure that you don't ever show your face in this palace." Two guards carried her
" What no? She pushed me. I was trying to talk to her but she pushed me." she cried as they carried her out. Real tears.
I turned to my mate to see he was already looking at me.
" I believe you mate." I smiled a little but her words still played in my head.
Would he reject me once he knows that I'm a nobody and also how disgusting I am.
