"Hey, your father is going to be discharged today right?" Ana asked as she stepped out of the kitchen with two plates of pancakes in hand.
"Yeah…" I answered, thinking about the conversation I had with him. He had insisted on me telling Desmond everything. Something I strongly opposed and almost had an argument about. I rubbed my belly gently and I smiled. But then I shunned that thought away.
"Today is going to be a long day." I lamented while she handed me a plate.
"I couldn't agree more." She affirmed. "But we'll pull through." She grinned at me before switching on the TV. The screen brightened up to an Entertainment News program and one could see the Co host talking lucidly about Emily Johnson's arrest. Ana briskly changed the channel but it still dampened my mood regardless
