I grunted as my eyes faintly awoke to a dim ray of light illuminating the room. I could barely feel my muscles and my head raged with a strong headache. My vision was blurry and I could barely perceive anything as I looked around the room. I tried to move but my body wouldn't respond and realization soon struck me I was stuck. My wrists and ankles were chained to the wooden chair. I grunted, still trying to break through even though I knew it was hopeless.
