Elena POV:
I was on the ground. How did I get here? I tried to think back. I was crying and a mess and then laying on the ground, but I wasn't in the maze anymore. So where was I? I looked around and it was hard to see. I was in the middle of some kind of wooded area, but I couldn't make out where. How did I get here? I tried to get up, but my feet were cut and cold. I grabbed at my bleeding feet, trying to determine how bad it was. I needed to get back to Mason. How could I allow this to happen!? I stood up shakily, my feet hurting as I did. I tried to see through the dense forest and the darkness. "Hello!" I screamed, "can anyone hear me!" There was no answer. Why would there be?
