"Must you always call me Mama?" I ask Sung-Shu as we leave the library. "Sorry." He frowns a bit while I hold his hand. "Sung-Shu, you really must stop doing that." I sigh. "What's his name?" He suddenly asks after we cross the street. "Who?" "The name of the man you say you love." "His name is Jimin." He hums in thought. "Are you going to marry him?" He tilts his head. I nervously bite my lip. I used to love the idea of marrying Jimin. The thought of waking up by his side as his wife and possibly having a child with him used to be so lovely. But my harsh reality of his current actions makes me hesitant. "Papa!" Sung-Shu runs up to Mr. Min and hugs his leg. "Sung-Shu!" Mr. Min picks him up. "Are you going home early, Mr. Min?" I ask while walking up to them. He nods. "Might help Sung-Shu with his reading so you can go home early." I nod a little as we keep walking together. "Are they together?" I hear some women whisper. "They can't be. That woman is no match for him as far as appearances go." "What did you say about her?" Mr. Min suddenly stops to glare at the two strangers. "Mr. Min, please don't-" "W-We were only stating facts, sir." The other woman nervously states. "And you think you'd be worth my time more than her? Your looks are as revolting as the words you speak, wench." **** "Y-You really didn't have to say anything, Mr. Min," I mutter. "I did." He says after closing Sung-Shu's door after I put him down for a nap. "No one should ever insult another human being like that. Especially a young woman as lovely as yourself." He simply states before going into his study. "Are you leaving?" I stop near the front door when I hear Hoseok's voice. "Y-Yes, I am." He shyly glances down before looking at me. "I-I apologize if I made you uncomfortable yesterday evening. I-I just-" I quickly shake my head. "N-No, it's fine. You were just saying how you felt." "Even so, I shouldn't have feelings for a woman already taken." I sadly smile. "If it helps, I really would have loved to be with you if I met you first." "Thank you." He nods. **** "You went to see Dr. Jin?" As soon as I arrived home, Jimin told me how he confronted Dr. Jin. "Yes, and I made sure he knew not to go near you ever again." He strictly says. "Jimin, you can't just-" "Can't what? Make sure another man knows his place?" "He's just the doctor, Jimin?" "Really? He seemed quite persistent to tell me how he touched you." "Clearly, especially if you went there to harass him over a simple appointment." "It seemed to be more than just some appointment. But fine, let's say it was just that. What about that damn butler?" "What about him, Jimin?" I sigh before sitting on our bed. "Do you expect me to believe he doesn't have feelings for you?" "Even if he did, what does it matter? I'm with you aren't I?" "Physically." He huffs. "What?" "Just because you're here with me physically doesn't mean you could have another man in your heart." He complains. "Jimin-" "Am I wrong?" He raises a brow. "You're very wrong. Jimin, you know you're the first and only man I've ever loved. Please, stop thinking I would leave." He deeply sighs before sitting next to me. I feel a bit of concern when he suddenly holds my hand. "Me and only me, right?" I quickly nod. "Prove it to me." He mutters while looking me in the eye. "H-How?" "Marry me."
