Waking up without feeling fear is so foreign to me now.
"Lavana?" Hoseok knocks on the door.
"C-Come in," I respond after struggling a bit to sit up.
My eyes widen after he opens the door.
"D-Dr. Jin." I couldn't tell if I was happy or nervous to see him.
His sad smile tells me that he knows about what Jimin did.
"Do you want me to sit in here with you?" Hoseok asks.
I smile a bit while shaking my head.
"No, I'll be alright."
"I'll be downstairs then." He says before shutting the door.
There was some silence as I look at him.
"How about we get you into the bath before starting, hm?" He gently asks after sitting the bag down.
Hesitation fills me as he holds his hand out for me.
All I could hear was Jimin's yelling in my head.
"Lavana, it's okay." He barely whispers.
I actually feel at ease when I touch his hands again.
"May I?" He gestures to my nightgown after the tub is filled.
I shyly nod while avoiding his eyes.
I can almost feel his anger as he looks at my bruises.
Some bigger than others going from my arms to my back and stomach.
"Hoseok said it was a bit painful for you to breathe and move properly. Are you still feeling like that?" He asks before I feel him wash my back for me.
"N-Not as much. You don't have to do that. I can-"
"Let me." He mutters after sighing.
"It calms me a bit taking care of you like this."
His gentle touch makes me shiver a bit. But it feels nice.
His touch almost feels naturally well against my skin.
I slowly realize how I enjoyed his touch the first time I met him compared to Jimin's.
"Are you alright?" He asks after we sit in an oddly comfortable silence.
I nod. "For once, I do feel alright."
I see a hint of a smile on his face before washing my arms for me.
I can't help but giggle at how he even delicately holds my hand before pressing a kiss to the back of it.
"I was really worried about you." He suddenly says before I finally look at him.
"When he came to my office and told me what he did to you I...I almost lost my mind."
"Dr. Jin..."
"It only got worse after he told me you were going to marry him."
"You're not, right?"
"I...I thought I wanted to. But I-I don't want this for the rest of my life."
He seems to sigh in some peace before laying such a loving kiss on my forehead.
"That's good to hear."
His smile slowly falls.
"But what about the child?"
I look a bit confused.
"What child?"
"The one you were with at the library and he called you 'Mama'. Is that your and Jimin's son?"
I didn't mean to laugh at his misunderstanding but I couldn't help it.
"J-Jimin and I don't have a child together. That little boy is a child I look after. I'm his nanny for the Min family. Hoseok is their butler, that's how we know each other."
He actually looks pleased to hear such as he sighs.
"I'm glad."

"What are you doing out of bed?" Hoseok quickly stands when he sees me come down the stairs.
It was the evening now and Dr. Jin had left a few hours ago.
"I'm feeling a bit better and wanted to cook something for you. As a thank you."
He lightly chuckles.
"That's very sweet of you Lavana, but I don't want you to do anything until you're fully better."
"Please let me. I want to thank you in some way."
He sighs while still having a little smile.
"You really want to?"
I quickly nod.
"Close your eyes, then."
"Wh-What?"
"Just do it." He says while stepping closer to me.
"Close your eyes."
Hesitantly closing them, I sense his presence coming closer until I feel his nose brush against mine.
Forcing myself not to open my eyes, I gasp a bit when I feel his soft lips on mine.
I couldn't tell if I intended to pull away or not, but even touching my lips I can still feel his.
"H-Hoseok, why-"
"I love you." He calmly states while looking me in the eye.
I see almost all of my own emotions in his eyes.
"Please...I know you're probably too scared to love at this time but...I want to show I can treat you better than Jimin ever has."
