Chapter 5 The Wizard of Wizards That afternoon, she went out picking flowers, and when she returned home, she went to the back of the cottage and laid them on Rosewood and Meebe’s graves. She knelt on the ground in silent meditation. She was having a battle with herself. On one hand, she felt that she needed to venture out into the wide world and escape her isolation. However, the fear of what she would find and how to deal with it caused her great anxiety. In addition, she would have to leave behind the last memorials of those whom she loved most. Finally, she began to talk to Meebe as if she were still alive. "I sent a message to Finkle, as you requested. I need to get out of this moor and certainly away from the king. Now that you are gone, it is lonelier here than ever." She choked
