Benny’s POV ‘Hey Bud’ I murmur, ‘you OK? Do you want to talk about why you don’t want to get out of the truck?’ Tanner shifts slightly in his seat, concentrating on the stitching as he shrugs his shoulders noncommittedly. ‘You can tell me’ I encourage, ‘we’re in a safe space here, anything you say in this truck is safe, no one can get angry about anything that is said and heard in here.’ ‘Rali was angry’ Tanner mutters reluctantly.
