21 Days

It was year 20xx and the world has fallen apart. The once lively city of New York was now in full disaster. Time Square are now filled with burned cars and the smell of the undead lurked  in the air. It was a tangy smell that would not leave your senses and the only choice you have is to ‘get used’ to it . The power plants have long gone and the lack of electricity made the evenings dangerous mostly because of the beings.  Since the day the experimental subject of a certain scientific lab escaped the premises of the said lab after causing an uproar, the man-made made virus it contained spread like wild fire. It affects humans mostly and the result made them lifeless yet thirsty of blood and flesh. One graze from its teeth would make you prone to the virus and these things’ first tendency whenever they sense life is to feast at it. They are very sensitive to sound and they seek their target from it. There's still many things that must be discovered about these beings yet for now, these limitations help with the survival of the remaining.   It was hopeless for everyone but Jake Sim, he’s just one of the many survivor of this apocalypse and even after two years have passed since the beginning, he is still living, and striving.
